Diablo Hills Golf Course

Played for my bday. got paired with two individual.

first time playing this course definitely coming back to play.

Golf Early because it gets very crowded on weekend afternoons with limited golf carts available.

Great day and a great course to get 9 holes in and a cold beer and good food.

Course is getting cleaner and cleaner. Still a few maintenance spots here and there but overall the course was in good playing shape. Greens were great but the bunkers were in really soft and littered with rocks. Odd combo. Pick it up and play outside of the sand traps.

Other than that the course was great and the pace of play was just fine. Got out at 11am and didn’t have an issue. We’ll be back!

I had not played here in years. I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. The fairways were nice, very playable. The greens were in good shape and very fair to roll 'em on. The tee boxes were in good shape. I will return to play again and would recommend playing here if you're looking to play a pleasant nine!

When we arrived there were no golf carts or people were skipping tee times. Someone randomly walked in front of our group of four without having paid or even having a tee time (as he told us).

The grounds were poorly maintained, it seemed like off-roading in a golf cart. The fairways were like dirt trails. This was for sure a one and done.

I hadn't played the course for over a year. The greens were in much better shape as well as the fairways.. The new management has done a good job.

Everything the course could control was good, however the group I was paired up with had a "booking error" so we had to play 5 in our foursome, we tried our best but it made the day kinda wonky... can get a credit for another round?

It took me 2.5 hours to get through 7 holes. It was very backed up and there was no Marshall to help keep the pace of play.

Good course. Wish it was an 18 with a driving range. Could use an warm up.

Best 9 hole course that's between par 31-34 (it's par 34, three par 3s and one uphill par 5) that I know of in the Bay Area. Beautifully maintained with plenty of soft sand bunkers and greens that are a good but fair test. Most holes are not flat and the scenery is also a plus. Plenty of trouble if your 2nd shot is not where you want it to go on the par 4s . Great view of Mt. Diablo from the restaurant / bar with outdoor seating, even if you're not golfing.
