Plum Creek Golf & Country Club

About
Legendary golf architects Pete Dye and Perry Dye designed the 18-hole, private course at Plum Creek Golf and Country Club, located in Castle Rock. Opened in 1984, the golf course features 7,044 yards of golf from its championship tees, playing to a par of 72. Dye included various different challenges in this golf course, causing some locals to say that it possesses some of the most difficult holes in the state. The hilly terrain of the well-bunkered course causes many uneven lies. Water hazards also come into play on some holes. Plum Creek Golf and Country Club boasts beautiful views of Castle Rock and the Rockies.

Great course, great time!
I absolutely loved this course! As a 60 year old I just don’t hit it as far as I used to, but I played from the whites and it was not too long at all. I felt pretty comfortable and did not have to hit my long irons and hybrids into every par 4 like I do at some other courses. The course was in amazing shape and although a little pricey for 18 holes, it is still a pretty decent deal. I will be going back and taking my wife so she can enjoy a round with me. The staff was awesome, and the bar and grill was just great! Keep up the great job you all!!!
Plum Creek - Worth a Play
Beautiful course in Castle Rock. Layout makes you feel
As though there’s very few other groups out on the course. Conditions were excellent with challenging greens that roll very well. Bring your A game; at least a good attitude and you’ll have a very enjoyable round of golf.
Great public course
Challenging golf course with fast greens. Staff is great.
Rain and paid
I am disappointed that with it raining, we still got charged for our round. Most courses, will not let you play if it is raining, due to the possibility of damaging the course. it was raining at my house, so we failed to meet our tee-time.

Good times
My buddy and I had a great time. It was excellent day.
Good Value
Overall, this course is a good value. well managed
Beauty in Castle Rock
Played here yesterday for the first time. Staff were super friendly! The facility is in amazing shape. Very challenging green complexes if you miss the green. Very firm greens that putted fast and true but were difficult to hold especially on short chip shots.
The course was in great shape
Plum Creek was challenging for this senior golfer. The layout has many interesting holes with lots of trouble including water, creeks and traps. The greens were big, fast and undulating. The course was in great shape for late spring in Colorado. Low and middle handicappers will love it but beginners should have difficulty.
