Plum Creek Golf & Country Club

Course was great shape and I ACED #2. I’ll play here again.

The course was in great shape. But, we saw the cart girl once the entire round. And, the price is WAY too high for what the course is.

Plum creek is in some of the best conditions I’ve ever seen it and better than almost every course around the area. The water restrictions don’t seem to be impacting this course at all. Greens rolled smooth, fairways were fair, and tee boxes were pretty perfect.

With the continued dry weather, the hard fairways and firm greens make the course very unforgiving. But the staff has done a great job in keeping the tees and greens in excellent condition. I do not recommend the course for high handicaps or beginners.

Made my booking for 5:03pm for the first twilight time. Got pushed back to 5:12pm. Didn’t get to tee off until around 5:18pm. Then had a very slow group of 4 in front of us. Pace of play was extremely slow. Didn’t get to finish the round. Wouldn’t recommend.

If this course, but didn’t seem well kept. Essentially dirt driving range. Member/Guest day no doubt slowed play, but 5 hours was tough. Expensive for what felt like a municipal course.

A group of 6 was allowed and it was very slow. Our round took 5 hours, primarily due to the group of six.

Plum Creek is a gem. Pete Dye design modernized and brought back to top condition. Challenging but very fair. Great setting. On course staff were awesome and friendly. Clubhouse has a great indoor/outdoor bar/restaurant. Like a fun sports bar with tons of TVs. Had lunch and watched the FIFA World Cup for a bit.

Overall a great round played with some friendly members. Love this course and plan to play again soon.

A Pete Dye gem… a serious test of golf. loved the greens. Unfortunately the course is a little dry definitely needs more moisture.

Beautiful day — beautiful course! The layout is nice and challenging, and it’s in great condition with soft bunkers ;) Pace of play on a Saturday can be tough anywhere, but to finish about 20 minutes over is pretty good here! Had a great time with the people we were paired up with — and all but one staff were great!

(Still shaking my head over an unfriendly and grumpy bartender—not a good way to start the day—that encounter doesn’t fit the overall vibe and good experience that we ended up having.)
