Plum Creek Golf & Country Club

About
Legendary golf architects Pete Dye and Perry Dye designed the 18-hole, private course at Plum Creek Golf and Country Club, located in Castle Rock. Opened in 1984, the golf course features 7,044 yards of golf from its championship tees, playing to a par of 72. Dye included various different challenges in this golf course, causing some locals to say that it possesses some of the most difficult holes in the state. The hilly terrain of the well-bunkered course causes many uneven lies. Water hazards also come into play on some holes. Plum Creek Golf and Country Club boasts beautiful views of Castle Rock and the Rockies.

Very playable, very enjoyable, fair value for the money.
Nice new clubhouse, friendly staff. Course conditions on 5/2/24 were quite good and all prior remodel work is completed. Not many tall trees along the fairways which makes the course very playable compared to nearby courses such as Bear Dance or The Ridge.
Recommend booking no later than 3:00pm in summers to ensure you play all 18 holes, back 9 is slower than front 9.
Good course
Plum Creek is a decent course. It has some holes with beautiful views and some that are very challenging.
Great job guys!
I GOT A HOLE IN ONE!! Best day ever!
The starter truly is the person that sets the tone for the round and there starter is incredible!
Overall a bit more expensive for winter golf but the team and grounds are great!
Horrible customer service and dishonest
Booked a hot deal when I showed up they said that rate was for 9 holes and I had to pay another $40 for 18 holes I didn’t argue because I drove an hour and was going to get kicked out if I started complaining never will go here again the course was in horrible shape
Hard, but good Plum!
Plum Creek doesn’t disappoint for a difficult test of skills. Miss greens and your short game will be challenged. Greens runoff on all sides well below the surfaces. Fairways, greens, bunkers were all in great condition. Hard, fast, just as expected with the lack of rain we’ve had. Great test, stay on the right tier of the greens to aide putts. If it gets windy, good luck.
Nice course!
This was our first time playing this course. We enjoyed the course. The pro shop, starter and bev cart were all very friendly and helpful. The ONLY thing I wouldn't rate well was pace of play. The group in front of us were late for their tee time and then proceeded to take their time, holding up the rest of the course with nobody holding them up. A decent round, course in good condition, nice course and staff - but a ranger would've been nice. We'll be back.
friendliest staff
The staff here was so generous with giving a ride to the first tee a member of our foursome who was running late, and then retrieving a putter from our group that was left on the putting green! They were extremely friendly the whole way, gave good recommendations on food, and had some good deals in the pro shop. One of my favorite rounds I've ever played.
Too much for the course - extremely slow
Prices here are way too much for the value you get out of the course. They jacked the prices up to pay for all the clubhouse renovations without doing much to the course. The fair price would be 60-70 here max.
