Pine Creek Golf Club

From Austin Tx and play some nice courses. All things considered with the rain recently and the grass coming in, course was 8/10.

Bunkers were rough but to be expected with the rain.

Tight fairways.

Greens were in good condition. Rolled true. Might go back and play tomorrow being all the other courses around that are worth playing are private or have bad reviews

I was expecting course to be in a somewhat tough conditions. But fairways and greens were in awesome shape. Slower then normal but that was expected with all the rain we have been having. Only thing keeping this course from perfect shape is softer sand in bunkers and grass to grow more on some tee boxes.

Advice: course plays a lot tougher if you miss the fairway.

I’ve seen quite a few bad reviews of this golf course. Maybe these guys are playing on the best courses in the world and are underwhelmed by this one… but in Texas, we don’t have golf courses like this. The views are phenomenal. The only part of the course that I though was lacking upkeep was probably the sand bunkers. But the greens were pure, fairways were tight and challenging, and staff was exceptional. I read some reviews saying that the staff was rude. I interacted with 3 different staff members today and had purposeful and kind conversations with all of them. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the course. Overall, 8.5/10 and def would recommend.

Pro shop was cool and gave us a bucket of balls with our round. Course was beautiful and in great shape!

The course is dealing with some winter kill, like most public courses, but the greens are solid and under new Superintendent leadership, I’m optimistic the rest of the course will follow suit too.

It is nice when you get the online special price. A little pricey at the normal rate.

I enjoyed playing the course but my one criticism is the condition of the bunkers. They were clumpy and with little sand. Seemed substandard for as good a course as Pine Creek.

For the last couple of years, the course has drastically gone down hill. Where I used to play 8-10 times (expensive) to only twice this year. due to the terrible conditions and all the goose droppings especially @15 & 16 and being terribly toverpriced for the conditions. The only reason I played on this date was because of the $37.99 special.

I have to say (happily), that whomever the owner/owners are, they have really begun to put money in the course, sprinkler systems. My playing partner and I had a very enjoyable round. Pine Creek is not a $70-$80 per round track as it was a few years ago but, they are trying to get back. They need to keep up the good work on the course and get the restaurant running properly. They have also made some nice modifications to the driving range.

Note: people will spend their money on a nice course and will continue to spend in a good restaurant and bar. Just sayin!

My partner injured his back and was unable to continue. He requested a rain check for the back 9 and was not given that courtesy😞

This course had been nice for so many years. It is in horrible shape. Not one bunker was playable. Greens were rolling at a 7-8 speed. Multiple holes with soggy fairways.

I love this layout but it’s sad to see it in the shape

Great spot in Colorado Springs. Firs time playing this course. Excellent value and extremely friendly staff. Overall fairly challenging with narrow fairways and fairly well maintained greens. I would definitely play again.
