Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills - Blue Course
About
The Blue Course is one of four public courses offered at the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. Located in the city of Westminster, the Blue Course is a nine-hole, par-37 course that offers over 3,200 yards of golf. The nine holes of the course originally served as the front nine for another course on the premises, the Gold Course. Now, it stands alone as a regulation length nine-hole course and the Gold Course is a separate 18-hole course at the facility. Hyland Hills offers picturesque mountain views as well as finely manicured courses. Golf Digest even rated Hyland Hills' courses as part of Colorado's top 20 golf courses.

Sunday church
Always love the Blue on Sunday morning, rough was kinda rough but I shouldn’t have spent so much time there 🤛🏼 my bad. Good time was had by all 🤙🏼
New carts slower than a walking pace
The new carts are nice with the gps map and new features. The gps fencing sucks when there is a lightning storm and the Marshall is yelling to get cover. They are so slow I decided to end up walking and leave my buddy with the cart.
Pace of play
The group ahead of us took 30 minutes to get to the first hole green. Each hole after took about 20 minutes. We were stacked up by 3 additional groups. We called it after the 3rd hole. Maybe a Marshall to be out there would be nice versus the cart telling us to hurry up.
love this course
Honestly it’s the best course for the price. Their car rule when you’re a single player is kind of dumb, but it is what it is. I almost wanted to give it a bad review because it’s a hidden gem. This is a great course but Shhhh ;)
Cart Paths Are Grueling and Tee Spacing is Silly
We play here often and often do not leave a review. But, yesterday, the lack of attention to the cart paths prompted me to leave a review. The first hole on the Blue course has the path bloked off because the path and grass are so bad. The alternate path to the side is also terrible. Just give up on growing grass and make a gravel path, please. Some new cart paths have been put on the Blue Course and are appreciated.
The tee spacing pn both courses is ridiculous. On some 500-yard holes the spacing of the teees is less than 10 yards. On some of the holes there is barely any difference in distance. This should be addressed before that big project going on between the first holes on the Bluye and Gold.
Lastly, this was a prepaid GolfNow booking and they tried to collect. As this has happened several time, I always now check all GolfNow bookings.
cart paths
cart paths need help. Our group thought it was like 4 wheeling.
Nice course, very relaxing
Course was well maintained, challenging and a blast. Best way to start your day
BLUE 9
Seems to be mud holes and ruts in areas of the cart paths, especially at the tee box areas. No ball washers at the tee box areas, just on the carts. A gorgeous coarse and lots of good things to say also.
