Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills - Gold Course
About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Nice course driving g range needs some updating
The golf course was great pace of play was on par with a normal busy city course. Only negative was the driving range hitting off Mats with tee breakers kinda socks. If your better than me and can walk up to a tee box ready to crush it without practice you have nothing to worry about
Gold Course. Challenging to me, but I suck.
I've been playing low rent 9 hole executive courses since I started playing, so Hyland's Gold Course was challenging for me, but it was nice to play a real course. The grounds were well kept and I couldn't ask for a better value. We were stuck behind a twosome who were playing at a snail's pace, but that's not Hyland's fault.
Gold
Excellent course with an excellent staff. Total operation is run very efficiently and effectively!
True Classic
Excellent lay-out. Very challenging greens and must hit straight and fade/draw shots to get it close.
Decent day
We were behind a very slow group for 5 holes, they picked it after we made some comments but they were already 2 holes behind. On 15th a staff member stopped to suggest we stay with the group in front (like we were behind, we gave him a few “comments”), we had waited for them on 13 and by 15 we couldn’t see them - it think they quit bc we never saw them again. The greens needed rolling and we’re quite slow.
Great place to play!!
This is a great course, and especially great because I had pre-bought a multi use card. VERY worth the money to buy the card!
Only downside was we had perfect weather for 16 holes, and had a downpour come through on 17 & 18.
Still, it was a very good day of golf!
