About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Wish we could of actually played at a decent pace
I can totally understand having to wait and also know what “pace of play is” but when it takes more than an hour and a half to only get started on the fourth hole and the people in front of us would not let us play through is that’s a little bit ridiculous to me. The pro shop told us they didn’t have a Marshall that’s out there all the time. Finally we just skipped a hole so we could play at our pace and the people still hit into us so we were just done and when we asked for a rain check the pro shop couldn’t give us one. I’m sorry but maybe don’t drop three or four balls when you have people waiting behind you.
A turtles pace.
If it took any longer to play this coarse you would have to bring flashlights due to darkness.
Golf Coues at Hyland Hills
The course was in great condition. We felt the greens were extremely difficult. They were fast and have major undulations.
Miserable
Wait 5 to 10 minutes every tee. Almost 5 hours to play!
Called to report and marshal drove by and nothing changed.
Interesting challenge
A course that will hold your interest and challenge your putting. Undulating greens with smooth putting reward you for getting past the water. A very enjoyable round, despite the occasional ball from a near by fairway.

Absolutely riduculous since they had at least 20 carts available and the drriving range was 200 yds away
