About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

pace of play was unmonitored - 5 hrs. - last time 5 1/2 - it's inexcusable
Fun course
I like this course. Nice layout. It's not too hard but also has some challenging holes.
Bad attitudes
This place put a Limit on beer sold. Ranger had a bad attitude. Slow play. Restaurant closed. Probably won’t play here anymore
Sloooow
I use to play this course a lot.. People that run the course don't do anything to speed up play. Over 6 hours to play and saw the Marshall once as he speeded by. Cup on the greens had not been changed for days. Tee boxes were in poor condition. Last time I will play here.

We had a great golf day. Got done before weather too hot. We set a good pace because no one in front of us and no one pushing from behind.

Restaurant can be better and open more, driving range is over priced. Fees are over priced for the public course
Twilight Gold
The fairways and greens were in very good condition. The course played long as it was raining holes 2-5 for our round.
My only complaint is the greens had recently been sanded. This slowed down putts and they did not roll as true as normal. I know this has to be done throughout the year to keep the course in good shape and I appreciate the work they do. This is a good course at a good price.
