Blue Fox Run Golf Club - Red Nine

This course was the worse course I’ve ever played. There was no grass within the fairways. The greens were awful.

Fairways were a little rough and hard due to little rain of late. Pace of play was good. It’s too bad we had sprinkler action while playing two holes

Played this course for the first time today. While the course has some burn out, it played nicely. My group played the back tees and playing from those tees definitely tested us. We will be going back soon.

the pace of play was slow for the first 9 holes do to some beginners in front of us. the second 9 was a nice comfortable pace.the green were hard but in good condition the fairways were dried out and hard to hit off.

I did enjoy the day playing I would go again.

We were running late for our round and the staff took great care of us, finding us a place to play. . Some of the fairways were firm,/dry but I liked that! Great to reach a par 5 in two for a change. I thought the greens ran true with a nice pace. The greens also held well considering the heat and lack of rain this year. The course doesn’t look pretty on some of the links holes but that’s links golf. Overall it was a fun round and would play it again in a heart beat.

Course could use some maintenance. The fairways were choppy the tee boxes were sparse and the greens were just ok

The staff here are very attentive to our needs and wishes, the course has improved significantly as well. I enjoy playing the red and the white courses. This is a great course to play with friends and family!

Nice course but since the rebuild adding the 3rd 9 the on course signage is beyond lacking. Not nearly enough signs showing where the next hole is which causes confusion and wastes time. We drove around looking for hole 3 on the White course for way too long before we just stumbled on it. Such an easy thing to address, too bad as otherwise it's a nice little course. PS: #7 Blue course white tees are a joke (can't see the green from the tee box, just the top of the flag (another change from the rebuild that was poorly engineered), at least trip the trees in front (hint, play the blue tees, the extra distance is worth seeing the green). chris

I’ve always liked playing this course, so I’m really surprised by how much they’ve let this course go. Tee boxes are beat up, some fairways feel like you’re hitting off the deck not to mention some badly burnt out greens. I don’t get it! I hope this course doesn’t go the same road as Tower Ridge!

Course was in decent shape, but some greens were pretty rough and the fairways as well. Good luck finding your next hole without any signs to let you know where to go next. The cart paths are a mess; bumps everywhere. Went with two friends and were asked to speed up our pace of play however the group in front of us held us up more than we were holding up anyone. The starter coming around was rude about it as well. We finished our 18 in the avergae amount of time by the course, this really annoyed us. Overall the course was worth what we paid for but lack of signs, rude staff and rough course conditions would make me think twice and spend a bit more elsewhere.

Great Layout. Played the Blue which is the longer set and then Red which was a bit links-ish. Had a great time and folks running the course were very friendly and helpful. Will recommend and return for sure!

The staff started us out by saying hurry up and finish your first nine in an hour and twenty minutes, if not, the twilight people would be coming in and things would get backed up. We paid in advance, and reserved our tee time. There should be no reason to be hushed along time accommodate random people showing up. Also, the course conditions were absolutely terrible. The fairways had big dirt spots, the grass areas had not been mowed. All the tee boxes were dead grass and dirt. The carts were in disrepair, didn’t accelerate, and the brakes didn’t hold.

Played the white and blue courses. Upon arrival we had prepaid on GolfNow. Staff at the pro shop office greeted us in a timely manner, friendly staff and outside, wearing masks. Very friendly starter, gave us instructions as to courses to be played and golf carts to use. We teed off right on time!

Course looked green and we were told they have been watering continually every day, and have a computerized irrigation system for night watering.

Greens were not burnt out as other reviews have stated, but smooth, rolling greens.

I did not find burnt out fairways, as a public course it was in very good condition! No bottles or beer cans on the tees.

Bunkers weren’t raked because of touching so you get a good lie by making your own lie.

The course is making a come back. I have heard there is a new greenskeeper with a very good resume. I look forward to playing here many times this year!
