One of the toughest holes here is the second, a long par-4 with woods to the left, more trees on the right, and two large bunkers guarding the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024
-
The fifth is a gem of a par-five, starting with a terrific downhill tee shot and a view of Hartford in the distance. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024
-
Nine is a classic uphill par-4; its fairway doglegs left, then heads for this relatively narrow green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024
-
Twelve doglegs right, then ascend a small hill to a pitched green, a green that is often treacherously fast downhill. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024

Guarding the left of fairway thirteen is a prominent water hazard, but it can be as fatal as it is beautiful. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024

A golfer putts out on the green at hole fourteen, which may be the best short four-par at East Hartford. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024

The fourth, a par-3 of 148, challenges especially on the tee shot and with fast downhill putts. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/04/2022

A little wet as expected due to constant rain but still good!
I was happy to get out. It was a good round of golf.
Awful management
Letting 5some's out and pace of play over 3 hours for 9 holes. I will not be back
Take a little pride in cleaning up the course
I understand it was still winter in Connecticut when I played the course, so just to get out and play is sort of a bonus. It had also rained hard about 5 days before I played. However, there were literally over 10,000 pine cones out there and plenty of branches all over the place. Even if it is still too wet to send any large equipment out there, don't tell me you can't send 1 or 2 guys out there with a backpack blower and a rake and a utility cart to pick them up.
Happily surprised
Between the snow melting and the rain that followed for the previous week straight, I was happy to see the course was even open. There were definitely some wet spots, but the greens were in good shape. I was just happy to be out on a beautiful day in March. Thank you.
SUMMER IN MARCH
Played after a very rainy day. Course could use more drainage. MOTHER NATURE PREVAILED. SUNNY
