new course
it is what you would expect for a new course. Three or 4 of the greens are gimicky and should be redone. Need to put more water for drinking on course and ball washers on each hole. Pace of play was 5 hr 10 minutes with not one ranger in site. Nice practice facilty .Needs a couple of ears to mature. Way too pricey for what is offered.
Pin placements were a challenge.
Tough pin placements and fast greens made for a for a challenging round..

Old Bridge Golf Club
I have been waiting almost 2 years to play here watching the progress as I drive by everyday. It turned out to be a great course. Some of the greens are really tough. The layout is awesome and the staff are very friendly. It’s the only place I have played this year. It helps that is less than a minute drive from my house. I love this place .

Pace of play
Very friendly nice course. A little pricey and speed of play was terrible. Attracts a lot of slow players . We had 4 foursomes on 14 and a ranger came out but too late. Will try again in the fall but they need rangers on the course for slow play.
All in the Greens
Course needs time to mature - greens are silly and look at times like the same as a wacky putt putt game. The premium cost to play - $85 with cart - is simply hard to justify. As always I suggest you try yourself and make your own determination. The group I played with are regulars and enjoy the course.

Great new option to play in NJ
The Old Bridge Golf Club is a championship quality layout at a very reasonable price. Well conditioned fairways and bunkers bring you to large and challenging greens. Be prepared to three putt many until you learn the subtleties the offer. A short ride from many parts of New Jersey and Staten Island make this course a must play destination.
