Brand New
I used to play here when I first hacking golf 30 years ago. the condition get worst each year back in 1995 till i finally walk away.
There rebuild both courses and I played the West course, green condition is as good as some of the country club i have played.
fairway is great, color of the sand is pure white you can see it from the tee box.
typical public bunker full of foot prints but the green is very good. i never have to fix my ball mark the entire round. that mean it is hard and fast. go play and experience yourself. I am going back next tuesday!
Played 18 on west course
The Staff were good and greens are in great. The pace of play was bad. There was no Marshal. Though we called pro shop, nothing happened.

West course looks sharp. greens are nice, good pace
Challenge
This course is a lot more challenging than the east. I like the difference.
Good spot!
Overall a solid visit. Course is in good shape, holes are fair for all levels. Lack of breakfast especially on a weekend just seems like such a missed opportunity though! Especially with two courses worth of people. Definitely would be nice to have that as an option.
Nice layout. Terrible rough almost everywhere
First time playing after hearing about $12 million renovation. Nice layout but anything outside of fairway or green was either dirt or patchy grass chunk regardless. Starter didn’t manage tee time and there were singles disparatly scattered around plus people teaching new players with no regard for those behind them. This was west course. Maybe later in season will be better but won’t play without cheap hot deals
Beautiful track
Tamarack West has a great mix of holes, long , short, doglegs and water carries . The conditions are very good, especially for so early in the season
No organization
People were just walking out and playing. Took 4 hours to get through 12 holes
Solid Course close to home
I play here quite often as it is close to my home. West was just redone and is growing in nicely. 10th hole is tiered and is an awesome chance to drive the ball.
Great fist round of year
Great round. Course in surprisingly good shape after hard winter. 2nd day course was open. Worth playing for sure. Foursome in front of us slow 2+ holes behind. No rangers yet, too early in season
