Old Bridge Golf Club

Nothing bad to say about this one. The course was in great shape. It's a very playable course with mostly wide fairways. The only knock I have against this place is the price. For the regular price of a tee time I would prefer other courses in a similar price range. But that being said, you won't be disappointed with this course.

Also note: driving range is great for warming up with targets at all distances.

Nice course, greens were a bit sandy and the bunkers were rock hard and there are very few cart paths that are the length of the hole leaving it confusing to know where to go. Our cart was locked out multiple times where we had to reverse slowly which was annoying. But, other than that it was a great layout, the fairways and views are great. Everything was brand new. The range is a little small and they do not have a liquor license. I think they overpriced the course. It is a very nice course with a nice layout but long par threes and short par fives. At over 100 bucks for a round on the weekend it is not worth it but a weekday golf deal is well worth it.

Def a unique layout and some challenging holes. The greens are wild, not one flat green. Carts are gps enabled but dont tell you out of bounds until its too late . Sand to fill divots would be nice. Very nice, challenging course in good shape. With golf I think every thing is overpriced. 90 bucks to ride on a Monday was a lot.

Very nice course …management is a joke hasn’t rained for days and they still won’t let carts out it’s honestly mind boggling whoever runs the course needs to be fired

Even though not raining, every step was squishy. Beautiful layout, but for a new course, drainage was terrible. Greens were fantastic. I will definitely return after no rain for several days. Course also has no distance markers so make sure you bring range finder or GPS.

The course is in beautiful shape. The staff is super friendly and not stuck up whatsoever like we see sometimes at courses. Nice driving range to warm-up. Large practice green area. Mini golf course on site for the kiddos. Pace of play has been good both times I've played. Large, undulating greens can be challenging, but are a lot of fun at the same time. Very open space and have only lost 2 balls total between my 2 rounds. Really great course overall and so happy to have it right here in my hometown of Old Bridge!

Well kept greens and fairways, perfectly cut. Very friendly fairways. Well worth the price of the course. Highly suggest playing. Beautiful course, one of the best I've played in NJ.

Greens were challenging to say the least, but in excellent shape. Fairways in good shape and very fair with plenty of space.

Way overpriced in my opinion.

Course just recently opened and is not fully grown in.

Fairways were ok but not great.

Many areas where strips of grass have been removed and replaced with sod. Very obvious patch work repair. It remains to be seen if these spots will grow in. They were also wet in many spots. Not puddling wet but definitely “squishy” when walked on.

A lot of bare ground on the perimeter of numerous holes. Something I wouldn’t expect to see on a 1 year old course.

I don’t usually critique the cart paths but they were pretty confusing. They would begin at the start of the hole, then end, then begin again further down the hole. This doesn’t sound like a big deal but when you’re driving and your cart suddenly stops and the screen tells you to back out of an area, it’s annoying. This happened a number of times during the round.

Got lost between the 16th green and 17th tee because there was no cart path to the 17th tee and no signage indicating where to go to the next hole.

Greens were nice but the grass seemed a little “fuzzy”, resulting in slow greens. Possibly due to not being mature.

Some of the greens were a little overboard with the undulations. Almost miniature golf-like.

It really seemed like the course is off to a bad start.

If it gets a lot of play and if it doesn’t hold up well in the heat of the summer, I think it’s going to go downhill fast.

We’ll have to wait and see if it can be maintained.

Personally, I wouldn’t consider playing here again for a while.
