Played their for the first time due to all the fuss about the great new course in Central Jersey. Honestly I don’t get the fuss. Course is very nice, you can absolutely score there, pretty easy layout, minimal sand and water and quite flat. Definitely enjoyed the round but not at all better than any of the Monmouth county courses, including Knob Hill.

Definitely not worth $100+.

Had to play their once and would take the wife there since she would love the easy layout - otherwise I won’t play here again since it’s way over priced. Should be no more than $70ish w a cart.

I loved the greens - fast but fair/true roll.

Went as a single joined another single and 2some. Still alot of growing in to do, but really nice overall. Greens were rolling nicely and are in great shape!

This course is beautiful! Once they get a liquor license and sell real food it will be the best public course in the area

How about some benches out on the course,and a working soda machine because there is no beverage cart girl.

New course that was a lot of fun. Needs time for grass to grow in completely is some newly sodded areas and French drains being added for drainage. Greens are unreal, nothing like it.

This place is incredible for a public golf course. The greens are wild but fair. The course is in phenomenal condition for being so new, played firm and fast. Greens are immaculate. Fix your ball marks! Management is doing a great job with this place so far. Pace of play could be better but you could tell it was busy. When this place matures in 2 years or so your looking at a top public course in the state. Price is very fair compared to surrounding courses. Needs beer. Will be back sooner than later.

Course is in excellent shape greens are challenging but fun. The range they have is nice and buckets are cheap. Quickly become top 5 course of mine In the Monmouth county area

Place is absolutely beautiful! Front staff friendly. Needs some time to fill out but was hard as a rock (balls bouncing high! but going to be great if they fix the kinks. The 11:20 foursome infront of us was putting out 2 inch putts and would stand around for 4-5 minutes in between shots. Definitely hit into them a couple times but they should be playing pickleball. Took 2:30 hours for the front nine, where we ended giving up. Passed them and back was wide open and full linx style., Saw the ranger a couple times but oh well. No food, no liquor. Try again in a couple years.

I had an amazing experience at The Rose. The pace of play was under 4 hours, which was fantastic. The course conditions were immaculate, with lush fairways and pristine greens. The layout offered a great mix of challenging holes, suitable for all skill levels. Friendly and accommodating staff added to the positive experience. I highly recommend playing here definitely worth the price.

I booked a tee time for 3:20 with a cart earlier in the day. When I got to the course they told us they were no longer providing carts for the rest of the day. So our choice was to walk 18 or not play after we drove all the way there. So we walked. It was a very hot afternoon and as we were walking, the course seemed plenty dry to be able to have carts. I will not be coming back solely based on the fact that if I book a tee time with a cart, at any moment they feel like during the day they can decide not give you one upon arrival. They should be embarrassed by this decision making. I booked the time with a cart for a reason. I work a physical job and can not really walk 18 holes. Besides that, it is a brand new course and all the traps are rock hard, patchy fairways from awfully laid sod. They should be charging like $40-$50 with a cart. They want a $100 for a weekend day. And $80 for a weekday. Not worth the money.
