Old Bridge Golf Club

Live in old bridge. Was very excited. Then found out how expensive it is. But gave it a shot anyway.

Very open and wide fairways. Great looking down to the pin. However, you will see others playing into the adjacent hole from your fairway.

Too hilly. Geens unreadable and fast. And no nine hole.

At hole 8 had the ranger come up to me and my son. Told us to pick up the pace. Meanwhile our other two in our group were playing in front of us. Why cone to us? I looked behind us and there was no one pushing. Who is complaining? Finished hole 9 and approached hole 10. Only to find a pizza store? Why rush us if the group in front of us is still eating pizza? Did I upset you before? I don’t think so, this is my first (and last) time teeing off here.

I’m currently on the 18th tee over 4 hours into a round as a threesome on a cloudy drizzly day. There is a foursome holding up the entire course. They are 2 groups ahead with a twosome between us. We have literally waited on every shot of the day. There is no one in front of them. If the people are too slimy to wave people through then the course has to do something.

Course layout was great, conditions very good. Challenging. If you didn’t know it was public you’d think it was a private club. Visually on par with private courses. Friendly staff. Only issue that disappointed were the conditions of the bunkers and no place to eat inside the building. It was windy the day I played. Ended up. Because I loved the course so much, I will definitely come back.

This course is in great shape, but the greens are akin to mini-golf. Some pin placements were completely insane

Fantastic conditions, fairways, greens and tee boxes. Fun layout, plenty of room on most holes. Greens are rolling beautifully. . The staff is very nice , especially the starter/ ranger , Ken. He was nice enough to give us his cart when our GPS was acting up.

This golf course is as well conditioned as you will find and far more mature than expected for a three year old course. Greens have tons of undulation and are challenging, but they are as true as they come. Layout is fun but forgiving, fairways are relatively wide, greens are mostly on the larger size. Played an early morning weekday in 3:45. I will return for sure, 90 minute drive for me, but worth every minute.

Course was in great shape, is wide open and amateur friendly. Will be back again soon!
