Whitney farms
One of our favorite public courses ! Always in great condition and challenging. Great little club house 19th hole and pro shop . Looking forward to my next round .
Slow. But fun course.
Pace of play was simply brutal at 5:00 on a Sunday. Course was in great shape.
Greens have all kinds of Undulations. Few blind shots, so it helps to have a gps. Like the Grint or something.
Great shape for summer
Always like this track, especially when the pace is good. Greens in great shape and tricky. Fairways in good condition, tee boxes not so much. Every hole is interesting.
Horrible experience
Awful staff / cut our round short for members behind. Swore at us, would not recommend
Jobsworth of a steward
The worst course I’ve ever played. The “ranger” has a serious problem, I’m not sure if it was a bad day for him but for the final 4 holes we was following us complaining about the speed despite the group in front being the ones who were slowing us down! I’d happily pay for him to receive some sort of therapy, I’d say it’s definitely needed.
I guess if I was working on a Saturday night I’d be equally as much of a knob. And especially if I looked liked that bloke.
Swore at us left right and centre called us all the names under the sun.
If you want a nice place to play golf then Whitney farms is most certainly not the one
Decent Value
Conditions and pace of play were adequate…not great but not bad. There are some quirky design flaws like an unseen bunker off the first tee, and a chopped up #8 hole. That said, for the money it’s a worthy choice.
Looking Great
outside of a few sand traps and a few tee boxes that need work the course looks really good and the hard work of the grounds crew is appreciated. Right now is the best I’ve seen the course look in the ten years I’ve been playing here
Great Course
This course is very challenging but also very fun. It’s a nice layout and has a variety of different and challenging holes. Only complaint was the pace of play but not too bad.
Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was excellent.
