Candlewood Valley Country Club

This course is relatively short, especially the front with no par 5s and some short 4s, but requires accuracy to play well. Greens were in great shape. Traps were a bit bare and not cut too sharp, but that’s more for the eye than anything else. The one thing thats tricky at times is the course’s holes run tight to each other so people are shouting fore a bit!

I’ve been playing candlewood for years, and have noticed a huge improvement to the course conditions the past year or so. Especially this season, the greens are phenomenal. Everyone is always friendly at candlewood. My problem is pace of play. Please add a ranger or two to keep things going. 6 hours for 18 holes is getting painful.

Looks like they might be working on cart paths. They should be in better condition. Course in nice shape and employees were friendly

I have played Candlewood Valley many times over the last 35 years. The course was by far in the best shape it’s ever been, a testament to the greens keeper. This was a fun round, not a killer and highly enjoyable. A great deal at $47 with cart.

great muni as always. has new golf carts and course in great shape. A must play. Pace good even on weekends.

I played Candlewood Valley on a lovely late November day with beautiful 60 degree weather. The pace of play was fine and I never waited to hit a shot. The fairways were in surprisingly good shape for this time of the year and the greens rolled true. Great walk!

good pace of play for a Sunday. if you have not tried it yet, you should. Flat course so good for walkers

Great flat course in very good condition and challenging greens. Even on a Sunday finished in under 4 hours.
