3rd: par-4, 430. This Cape design tempts you to take the shortest route down the fairway toward the green (on left). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

7th, par-3, 220. A well-guarded and contoured green; a pleasant backdrop. Seen here from its left flank. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

8th: par-4, 352. Green complex at this short and steeply downhill hole--made perilous by a pond. Eagle potential, however. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

The par-4 14th, 447. Long, beautiful, and possibly deadly. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Sixteen is another excellent, long par-4 concluding on this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

18th, par-5 of 588. The signature hole? I’ll go for that. Great bunkering from Mungeam. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Nice course in tip top shape
This is a well maintained and carefully tended course- somewhat links style, but fair and eminently playable. Greens are challenging, esp when pin placement is at top or bottom of the often considerable slope. One of the nicer public courses in the region.
PLay stopped due to Thunder Storms
I'm really not happy at all. I have asked Golf now for a full refund because the course stopped our play due to Lightning in the area. They never approached us after that to explain any refund and just left us hanging around the parking lot. Once it was obvious we could not play we parked our cart and went home. I have filed for a full refund but have heard nothing yet!!!!!!
How about some yardages on the sprinkler heads?
There were none. Carts are a joke compared to most courses that charge >$50 round.
Pro was inattentive, not the first time. Starter was great!
Best kept secrets
Best public course in New England. Private course greens
Great all around challenge!
Greens are very fast on front not as fast on back. Fairways nice all around. In great shape for early in the year.
Great Getaway
The course was wonderful, weather was perfect and staff friendly. I was part of a foursome riding. There was a twosome in front of us walking. No problem right? These two guys must have thought they were Woods and McIlroy. They were playing from the blue tees. CT National is a long course from the white tees nevermind the blue. We waited on every hole for these two idiots in front of us. On hole ten they were trying to fish balls out of the pond. Our tee time was 1151 and we did not finish until 4:40.
Glad to be back
It's been a couple years since I last played this course. However, it didn't disappoint me as it was as I remembered it and in excellent shape. The greens are fast and true, which I like putting on. Looking forward to another visit next time i'm in the area.
Never disappoints
This course is always in excellent condition and sets up for all levels of play! Best course in the area and priced right too!
Love this Course
Challenging course with beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff with nice clubhouse. Love to play there. Always recommend it to friends.
Great value-need a ranger.
Course was in top shape. Fairways were true and greens were quick but consistent. 5 hour round could have shorter if a ranger would have coached a few ‘wise guys’.
Golf Sauvage!
Bring your lunch. the rest is closed mon.
do NOT come here for the resort experience.
DO come here for the golf course.
Best course at 50 dollars I've ever played.
For those who like to walk, this is the course for you!
staff gets a 2 cause there wasn't really any staff. monday is day off?
