Slow play 5hrs of golf, extremely loud men in front and back of us, no marshals, no starters

The course is in great shape but disappointed that we had to guess at yardages from the fairway. No 200, 150, or 100 markers to be found.

Great day of fall golf. Course was in fantastic condition.

Second time playing and becoming one of my favorites. Slickest greens I’ve encountered in years. Don’t remember them being so fast two years ago when last played there. Love the layout. Beautiful surroundings. Hope to get there one more time before winter sets in.

One of the best public courses in southern New England!

This course is one of my favorites so it pains me to say this but the pace of play is terrible. At some points today we had 3 groups on tees waiting. I understand it’s a public course and you want all the play you can get but it’s pretty ridiculous that the round is taking 5 hours.

CT National is always in great shape. Even thought it had rained earlier in the day and the day before carts were allowed. Grens were fast (as usual).

On the par 3 15th hole we had a family of deer watch us play.(Small Doe lying down on a hill to the left of the green. Mom, Dad and older brother or sister keeping an eye on us).

When I went to the Pro Shop to announce my arrival they could not find me on the schedule. I retrieved my phone and provided the confirmation email from GolfNow. They accepted it without question and actually put me out earlier than my "scheduled" start time. Overall, what could have turned into a bad day ended up being a good experience.

Course was in good condition but the pace of play was slow. I think the undulating greens have a lot to do with it. Never a flat putt but really not many places for the pins to be placed on the front nine. Still always a great track.

Pretty windy and cold the day we played, and the day before rained A LOT, but the course was in great shape. Greens were rolling very fast, and I can only imagine how fast they would have been without the rain. The course was off the beaten path but would highly recommend to anyone. Reason for the 4 stars was the reception in the pro shop upon check in was cold to say the least, the person was not having a good start to the day and we sensed it. Bar had one table with 4 stools in it, looked like it was closed for the season. All said, can't wait to play this track again.
