3rd: par-4, 430. This Cape design tempts you to take the shortest route down the fairway toward the green (on left). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

7th, par-3, 220. A well-guarded and contoured green; a pleasant backdrop. Seen here from its left flank. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

8th: par-4, 352. Green complex at this short and steeply downhill hole--made perilous by a pond. Eagle potential, however. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

The par-4 14th, 447. Long, beautiful, and possibly deadly. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Sixteen is another excellent, long par-4 concluding on this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

18th, par-5 of 588. The signature hole? I’ll go for that. Great bunkering from Mungeam. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Course was well maintained Greens were perfect- fast and true.
All True!
First time out in the W Conn boonies and everything we heard and read is true!.. wonderful course and a pleasure to play. Greens and fairways are immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!
Awesome greens, fairly wide open. I wish it was more accessible

Absolutely a fantastic golf course great shape great staff great facility overall
The Course was very nice. The greens were well kept and very fast. The course is a bit difficult specially if you are a first time player.
Score card does not show the course layout and there no markers on the tee box that shows you what the hole looks like. Otherwise a beautiful course. I will be coming back and I highly recommend the course.
Great Track
Course is awesome but don’t tell too many people! Hope to play more often! Great condition and greens are very challenging.
Great course with pace of play issues
For starters, let me say this: CT National is a really great course in terrific condition. It puts a premium on target golf and short game play but is nonetheless a fair test. However, the course does nothing to address pace-of-play issues. Our round yesterday was 5 1/2 hours, with a foursome in front of us that was so slow that they had two open holes ahead of them. We saw not one ranger out trying to move them along. The place is a bargain but I would accept slightly less than a bargain if they had rangers. The constant waiting is disruptive and can throw off your game; it can also play havoc with your schedule if you have anyplace to be after the round. It was an hour drive to get there and although I love the layout and fantastic conditions, the pace of play issue may be dispositive of whether I end up going back.
Great course and worth the trip
Course is in great shape tee to green. Interesting layout with lots of elevation changes.
