Good value
I’ve played this course half a dozen times or so and it’s always in good condition. It’s a nice course for the money.
early tee time
The course was in playing shape, I mean from tee to greens the course was ready to play the moment we stepped on to the 1st tee.

Greens were perfect‼️
Fairways like a carpet.
Most of the bunkers were in good shape.
Pace of play .... 3 3/4 hours for 18 holes.
Staff and course crew are very accommodating

Enjoyable round
Friendly staff, well maintained. Pace of play was surprisingly good, even though the course was quite busy.
Variety of holes
Front 9 is open and has some elevation change with a view of mt Southington. Back 9 is much tighter with a small creek running thru several holes. Greens a fairly small all around.
See for yourself
Beautiful course...But unfair due to crowned greens, streams running through many fairways etc. Slope should be higher. The grounds crew were in front of us raking bunkers(and in one he left a huge rock...huh???) and on one hole we waited for the hole to be replaced...huh? They should be done with that before tee times star. I guess the young men(high school and college guys) can't get out of bed early. On a good deal I'd play there again as it's about 10 miles from my home, but it would have to be a real good deal. find the course unfair...a struggle to hit my handicap.
Nice Course
Very nice course. Well kept. Rough very thick . Keep the ball in the fairway! Staff was helpful. Round would have cost $60 each with a cart. Booked on Golf Now for $40 per person with $10 service charge and saved $70 for the foursome.
Spectacular greens !
Southington country club has by far the best greens in the area. Not a blemish anywhere. They must repair ball marks daily.
Suggest you play here and see for yourself.
Staff is awesome.
Back nine grill is Aqua Turf’s si the food is A++++ and the staff is the best.
Average course
The green were just sanded so putts were slow with not much break. Course has very small greens. Pace of play was pretty slow. Front nine is more challenging than the back nine.

Fun Round of Golf
Course is is good condition, fairways are nice and the greens were in good shape. Pace of play was good on the front 9 but was really bad on the backside. We often had to wait 10-15 minutes on the tees. The group ahead of us told us they let a threesome out in front of them before they made the turn. That needs to be controlled a bit better. Overall, good experience.
