Everything on the course from tee to green was in perfect shape. The greens are comparable to many private courses I have played. They could have had a little more drinking water on the course or if not that a cart person would work. Also the bartender could have had a smile on her face. She acted as if she was doing you a favor.

Very slow play - 6 hour round on a short course!! I thought the course was in good shape, just could not get any rhythm going because of all the waiting.

The conditions were unbelievable, nicest greens and fairways I've played on this year. Rough was thick but fair. Would've paid $75 for conditions this good, discounts on GolfNow make it a steal!

With a variety of well protected small greens and number of large sloping greens puts your short game skills to the test.

First time here and course looked lush and well cared for. Right off tee shot on #1 pace of play became excruciatingly slow and at least 10 or more minutes between shots. Ranger attempted to speed up the the clueless group in front of us but when ranger left...pace went right back to crawl. I was paired with threesome and all competent players and after 4 hrs and 14 holes we surrendered and quit the round. That being said I'm hopeful that this was just a bad day for the course and will play here again. Only thing that made this less painful was the GN price.

This course was in great shape. Played in a foursome on the weekend. Took a little over four hours to complete our round. Staff is friendly and accommodating . I will certainly play this course again!

Course was in really good shape, considering the damage most courses suffered during our brutal winter. Fairways were groomed, and the rough while not too deep, was exceptionally tough. Greens were quick and undulating. Course looks short on the scorecard, but plays long.

Fairways cushioned. Greens very fast. Decent variety

First time playing this course and I was pleasantly surprised! Best greens I have played on this year. The course is in excellent condition. Its a little short coming in at a little under 6000 yards. The greens on the back 9 are very tricky with false fronts and big slopes which is this courses defense for being short. I recommend this course to anyone!!

Coming out of this brutal Winter a number of golf courses I played suffered significant damage to greens and fairways. This was not the case with Southington GC. I've played it 20 or so years ago so I was extremely gratified at the conditioning of the course as compared to then. It's evident the owners put considerable money into the facility and grounds and it shows.

The clubhouse guy had no personality and was rude there is no starter and there was no ranger on the course the pace of play was extremely slow

This is one of the best courses I've golfed at in CT. The course was in very good condition and many of the holes on the front nine played long. The staff at the course were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the course very much and plan to play Southington again when I next visit CT.

It took over 5 1/2 hours to play 18. The foursome in front of us had at least 2 open holes (we couldn't see if there were more). Someone if front of them kept leaving cigarette butts on the greens...are you kidding me? When we turned in the cart, we were told that they don't have rangers, something I think they need to reconsider! We went to The Back Nine afterwards, which got very busy on a Friday. While the lobster rolls ordered were ok, they certainly weren't worth the $25 per plate charge. Our fault for not asking what the price of this special was before ordering.

Played for the first time last weekend. The pace of play was painfully slow. This was not the staff's fault. There were dozens of beginners on the course. The next time I play Southington I will bring a helmet and a cup. It was downright dangerous out there. The staff was fantastic and welcoming.

Played tourney here about 15 years ago. Course was nice then, great now. Greens were exc. I like excellent greens.. Fast. Playing partner was a great guy. Played and enjoyed some laughs. Small bit of confusion on back nine. Great day!!
