Awesome !!
Greens were the best I’ve seen anywhere this year. And that includes Mohegan & Lyman’s !!
Fairways were perfect!!
The staff is absolutely amazing!! We had a nice lunch at the Back Nine Restaurant!! Quality of our meals A+++

Great 4th of July golf
Greens and fairways in great condition. Some cruel pin placements but still very scoreable.

Course was in great shape as always and the pace of play was just fine. Back Nine Tavern did not disappoint either. Great day.
If Only I Could Putt !
Issues were with my game, not the course. it was a great day !

First cut was hard to get out,
Marshall shouted at us although we obeyed the 90 degree rules and said that we had driven through the yellow cord wat was not true.
The rest of the staff was friendly.
We almost got hit by a golfbal ! 1st tee downhill while we were on the 4th uphill.
Never heard a fore ,the holes are up and down that hill
Ok course
Course is tight with turtleback small greens, it’s tough, good shape, but not fun on a hot day
Southington CC
Greens were the best condition in the state so far this year. Very smooth and fast. Always a great 19th hole with great food and friendly staff. We will be back for sure.

Difficult Greens
Overall the course was in great shape for April after a lot of rain and The Back Nine Tavern is a great spot post round. However, the greens here are treacherous for a public course, if you’re not below the hole, you could have a 3 foot putt that’s running off by 30 feet. The layout leaves a lot to be desired, a lot of holes right next to roads and houses, some very short par 4s, a 90 yard par 3 and uphill par 5s. There’s much better courses out there for the money, but would be happy to have a drink at The Back Nine any day.
Awesome
As always course was in great shape. New sand was being applied to the bunkers as we played. A lot of work has been done with drainage and clearing brush.
Had a great day on the course with 3 club members who were gracious enough to allow me to play with them.
