About
Wheeler Family Traditions Golf Club (formerly known as The Tradition Golf Club at Wallingford) is one of the most affordable rounds in the area and it has received praise as one of the best golf courses in Connecticut. The par-70 layout is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will also find it to be a fun round. The holes are fairly straightforward though there are some fairways that have very narrow landing areas that will test the accuracy of even the best golfers. Numerous bunkers are strategically placed along the undulating greens and water also comes into play on the occasional hole. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging on the back nine. The most memorable hole on the golf course, the par-3 12th, is a water hole that features an intimidating island green.

Greay Course
I play this course often as always enjoy the layout.
Great Course, Even Though I Was Terrible
I played horribly but the course is in great shape. Greens were very good and some of the pins were challenging. Definitely recommend. Great price!!

Love this course..Fair priced, Great golf carts/paths.. Greens are a little slow- but the green conditions are mint..
The restaraunt offers- hands down some of the best food and drinks you will get in CT (Golf course or not!!
Rough can be challenging due to the length at times- which is a fun challange as well!

Had a wonderful round.
Was unimpressed however with the staff. Felt kind of blown off when I brought them a concern about our golf cart. Also some staff were not aware of the play around them and drove directly into a line of play as a playing partner was swinging
One of my favorites in the area but expensive for 9 holes
