Windham Golf Course

COURSE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. A LOT OF WORK BEING DONE ON THE COURSE AND CLUBHOUSE. BUNKERS HAVE BEEN GREATLY IMPROVED. COURSE IS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE WITH POOR AREAS BEING ADDRESSED. STILL A FUN PLAY WITH A GOOD MIX OF HOLES.

Greens and fairways in great condition. Rough had many bare areas and overall was cut too low to be a problem for the accomplished player.

New owner sending money on club house lol instead of course. Course in Ok shape for late July it was Green!!!

It was my first time using golf now.. Ended up saving 7$ Per person and I got to use a cart . I usually walk. 18 holes for 25$. Good course would play again and I will searching golf now for more good deals

Course length was short from championship tees. Course played well, but pace of play was slow.

The course was in great shape, greens were very smooth and the ball rolled nicely. Fairways well maintained, rough was spotty (bare spots, and clumpy grass). Light winds, but a perfect golf day--will be back!

Greens were in great shape. The course layout is a little strange. It's hard to find the next hole sometimes.

it is nice to see money being put back in to the course. I have played this course since I was a kid and the last few years it went downhill. the conditions have improved this year and it is once again worth the money! the staff was friendly and beverage carts were out on the course. very positive moves in the right direction.

This course was in general a nice and challenging course. However, there are some things that someone going for their first time here should know.

1. The course is set up so that much of it is run through by pretty fast moving automobile traffic. Much of the round that I played was done while surrounded by loud car noise. Also, there are a couple spots where you will need to tee off through adjacent roads that have cars passing through.

2. The course is under new management. This new management has changed the order of the holes. Unfortunately, those of us using a gps app like golflogix will be unable to get the most out of it since the app has not been updated with the new hole order setup.

3. As previously stated, the course is under new management and is also undergoing some construction. There was quite a bit of noise generated by this (which is understandable), but more important was that the place seemed kind of unorganized and confusing. I had a hard time finding the pro shop or any other facilities you'd expect to see at a golf course. Hopefully these things are improved upon as the construction gets completed.

Not a terrible experience. Worth playing. Just some things that people should be aware of in advance.

Course is under new ownership and therefore they have changed some of the holes around. This created a little confusion at times when looking for the bext hole. The facilities are being re-done and by june 5th they will have the grand opening. Price for 18 with a cart was great but otherwise didnt enjoy the layout.

Plain and simple... I messed up booking and they still honored my needs. Nice old course. Good conditions. Excellent customer service. I would go back.

Played the U Club this morning for the first time ever. It was quite cold this morning, so the course was empty and I flew through 18 holes in just over 2 hours. The routing of the course is decent: there are a few very interesting holes - #9, 10, 12, 15, 16, and 17 leap to mind immediately. There are, however, quite a few ordinary and forgettable holes on the front 9.

The conditioning of the course was ok, but not particularly good. The biggest problem is that it doesn't look like anyone has cleared leaves in weeks. A couple of holes (I'm looking at you #9) even had heavy leaf cover in the fairways, making it nearly impossible to find even a well-struck drive. The greens were inconsistent - some shaggy, others pressed and hard as rocks - and so were the bunkers - some had adequate sand, others looked as though they hadn't been raked in months. All in all, I would say that the U. Club is a perfectly adequate course. It could, with proper conditioning, be quite enjoyable; but the course design is ordinary enough that the course could never become a truly excellent course.

THIS COURSE IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE DAY I PLAYED, THERE WAS NO EFFORT TO RID THE COURSE OF LEAVES.

5 or 6 holes need attention, appears no updates made in years. Some fairways were nice. Greens very nice.

I felt the course was in good overall shape but there were a lot of leaves on the course.

This course had surprisingly good greens, the fairways were average. I am saying this in the context of a public course. The staff was fine, the course was not crowded, there were leaves but no debris in the roughs. I would say it is a good course with some unusual tees but the average golfer will enjoy it

Coarse well maintained, greens are sloped, price very reasonable.

The course is in great shape, the greens were just right, fast for this time of year. Very well maintained.

Outstanding value, course in excellent shape. A truly enjoyable day of golf . A little bit out of the way but well worth the ride.

First time playing this course. It was a little fuzzy but overall a nice track to play. Some variety in holes. Greens had been aerated, so they were just a bit bumpy but still very playable. Look forward to playing here again
