East at White Pines Golf Course
About
White Pines Golf Club is ideally situated for both locals and visitors with a convenient location that is just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago and only 10 minutes from O'Hare International Airport. The club has two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The East is the shorter and more player friendly of the two at 6,371 yards from the back tees. The fairways are seemingly narrow but there is some room for recovery if you have an errant shot. There aren't as many bunkers or water as on the West Course, but there is enough to provide a fun round. In addition to 36 holes of golf, White Pines G.C. also offers the Golf Dome, one of the world's largest indoor golf facilities. It features five target greens surrounded by bunkers, 50 hitting tees on two levels, and six suspended hitting targets for practicing your accuracy.

early in the season
The coarse fairways and greens were decent for the amount of rain we had. Other parts of the coarse were not quite ready. Only one or two ball washer, not water. Only once we seen a beverage cart. When I got to the 1st tee, then I found out they were an hour behind.. Cart path only and they didn't catch up until almost 3 in the afternoon.
Rain rain rain
Storms hit in the morning causing a washout. I went the course but my partner could not get pass an underpass.

Conditions
I love this golf course and staff. Went out with the guys yesterday an was really disappointed in the quality of the course and how bad of shape it's gotten too. Puddles in a bunch of holes. Greens were in god awful shape. Course needs lots of love. I'll give it a few months before I go back. Hopefully things will be better.
Good golf
I enjoy white pines. Have played both east and west this season multiple times. They are still charging offseason rates which makes it a great deal. Still in offseason shape. Bunkers could use some work. No water or bathroom access throughout the course. 17th tee box on East course still under repair. Pace of play really depends on the group in front of you. Not the longest course so waiting is expected on some shots. Excited to see how it shapes up the rest of the season.
early golf
for early spring golf , course was in good shape , a little wet from big rains a couple nights before and made it cart path only but for majority of the course no standing water . greens a bit bumpy , from sanding and fertiliser .
Horrible shape
No bathrooms (don’t care about women golfers) on course other bathrooms at turn still closed sand traps had last years leafs and weeds one has a huge no fishing sign in it east 11 no ball washers or water and bucket to wet towel was empty why ? Nothing done why open ?Rangers seem like they hate being there or golfers
Would have been higher but…
Was not notified that there were not carts available for rent - we did not have the time to walk18 and I was embarrassed. Don’t mind walking but not in a time crunch in very cold snowy weather conditions
White pines is normally very good
Not a complaint against the staff or the course but I was very disappointed that we weren’t notified that carts weren’t available on a very cold day. We weren’t mentally prepared for walking 18 and we felt time strapped. A heads up from golf now would have been appreciated.
Golf
It's as nice course , well maintained and worth the money . Rough are rally rough and par fives are def harder for not so long hitters like me .
