Course is in good shape
The course is in good shape. Rough is pretty high due to the wet spring.
Greens run true and are pretty quick.
One thing I do not like is that if you are a single they naje you ride with the other single. I enjoy a nice cigar and it is rude to smoke in the cart with a stranger. Plus I bring my speaker and listen to music. Keep fingers crossed that they pair up with similar likes. I got stuck listening to country. Ick.
Great forest preserve track
By far the best cook county forest preserve track. A good one to walk and very affordable when walking. Hard to get on as a single which is unfortunate. Nothing crazy with course layout. Pretty straight forward. Living close by I would play here much more often if I could get on in the mornings. Pace of play after 8am is too slow. Shorter course so you get lots of players waiting for greens to clear that they end up chunking anyway. I would play here 2-3 times a week if I could get on before 8am as a single.
Typical Boundary
Great course, friendly staff, great condition, horrible pace of play. Huge holdup on 14 but this is all expected at Boundary. Still a very fun course to play for the money. Will play it again for sure, just block off 6 hours, tell the wife not to wait up and just relax and enjoy the round!

Nice course
Nice course, I usually golf in Indiana but I wanted to come up north to see what the Chicago Park district has. I’m glad I did.!
Course was a bit easy though But fun!!!
First time in 20 years at IB.
Great round after 20+ years.. Great fall weather. Great pace of play. People will play into you a bit, so be ready to keep to a swift pace. Course gets busy but nobody seemed to be mean or impatient. Just play and enjoy. Don’t waste time looking for lost balls more than a minute or two.
Course was well kept. Would play here in a heartbeat.

Short and wide open very forgiving course.There are a few holes with water and undulated greens.

I played on a Friday in September. Greens were quick true. Pace of played was great and tge course was full. Not a hard golf course. Small greens. Great value.
Beauty
Very pretty course for Chicagoland. Lots of natural grasses and wildlife. Lots of cool short technical holes. A few boring ones. Great condition considering how much play it gets.
