Good Round
Course was in great shape, except for a few tee boxes, that were pretty beat up. Pace could have been better. A ranger got things going for a while, but then slowed again.
Back after many years
It was a almost perfect day, just some 10 to 20 mph winds. The pace was excellent, though there was hardly anyone there. Nice coarse, haven't played since they cha get it up. Now I read there updating again this fall. Usually the prices are way too high, we got a deal on line or we probably wouldn't have gone.
Great Course and Great Shape
Maple Meadows exceeded my expectations. The course was in great shape especially the fairways. The course layout made you really think about every shot due to the strategically positioned bunkers. It was a fun, challenging course to play.
well maintained
Course was in great shape except for #2 tee box, pace of play was really good, 4hrs.
High price for average public course
Attractive course with narrow fairways on some holes. Tees torn up and in bad shape, greens in bad shape. Course will be closed for renovation at end of year. Won’t make any improvements I suppose until it reopens. Should reduce green fees in the meantime, not the best value for current course conditions. Halfway house slow and overrun by a youth league. Kitchen needs help on Sunday. Drink cart girl was wizzing by like she was in the Indy 500. Would play again but only if fee and cart about $50.
Don't spray
Spraying and praying on this course will get you in trouble quick. You need to be able to control your drive off the tee box or you'll have a tough day.
Great Course/No talent
Course is always well maintained and great service. Corse isn't brutally hard but challenging.
Nice course in good condition. No driving range
I was suprised by this course. It was in really nice condition, much better than say Oakbrook golf club. Sand wasn’t great but fairways tee box’s and greens were solid. We got out early and pace of place was great finishing a round in 4 hrs.
Downsides: bunker sand and no driving range.
Rough start
The person behind the counter was having a rough day. He was upset w the starter and was grumpy to me.
Hairy greens
I don't understand how a course is such nice condition won't cut the greens for a decent speed. It would be interesting to see the stimpmeter reading.
The greens looked very healthy. There is no need for the ball to be wobbling all over the long grains of grass..
Cut them down another 32nd and see how they do.
Cut the greens and the overall rating goes to excellent
Excellent experience
The staff and the course is always excellent. They go above expectations every time.
Good course and layout.. bunkers could be better. Really hope they change the starter - very rude!
