Great place to Play
Very nice and enjoyable golf course. I will be playing it again.
Closed On Mondays
I did not get play. As I was informed about 3 weeks ago, this course started closing on Mondays due to low numbers. How Golf Now will still allow to book a round on Mondays.
Work in Progress
Municipal course level quality, most definitely not Country Club standard. They have a lot of work to do to justify course fees.
Huge improvements
This course has taken huge strides in the last year. Greens rolling true and quick and you can tell steps have been taken to improve quality of tees and fairways. One of the better layouts anywhere around. Definitely a great winter round and can’t wait to see this place grown in this spring.
Course was pretty open on front 9. Back 9 rough was knee high grass. Also they were letting members play in groups of 7-8 in single carts. Greens weren’t in best conditions. Too pricey for what the quality of the course was
Grew up playing this course as a kid, and it use to be in great shape. Throughout the years it went downhill fast. I found out it was under new management and decided to go play it. The greens were in great shape compared to playing on them in the past few years. The overall experience brought me back to when I was a kid playing it. I feel like the course is heading in the right direction.
Customer Service
Two occasions there has been nobody in the Pro Shop after driving 40 minutes to play. Sit and waited for about 20 min. and still no one came to assist me. So, walked around the entire club house and no one in sight. So good luck, not a bad place to play if you can catch someone there.
Not returning
I'm an African American golfer who has played at Bainbridge Country Club numerous times and since the first day I have not felt welcome at the course. These feelings come from the tone and manner I was spoken in from the course's management. It's very easy to see the course would prefer not to provide access to African Americans. Many past players of the course and former staff have made the same remark's.
Go Somewhere Else
One of the worst courses I've ever played on. Tee boxes grass was so high even teeing the ball up you still would trap grass in between the ball and the club face. Fairways were overran with mushrooms. Greens had several bare spots and "sand traps" in them. The only 2 highlights were the free range balls and that we basically had the course to ourselves on a Sunday (guess that should have been a hint). I will not be returning to this course and would advise other people to find a better option.
