Best Social Distancing to Have
This course is a great value. It is being kept up great. The greens play very well. The only nuisance on occasion are the squirrels.
A real fun course to play
Great layout. Challenging, but forgiving. Easy pace of play. Good people. The bunkers and greens need some work (weeds on both) but I'd still play there every day if I could. And the course is 40 miles from my house.
Great potential
The layout is classic and enjoyable. The greens were unputtable. They erre mostly dead with green spots that will surely fill in as the spring progresses, but these green bumps pushed the ball all over. The four ways were spotty and the rough largely unkept. The range was good. The course needs TLC and investment in greenskeeping to bring it to the next level.
Tired Creek
Great layout, good length from blue tees. Fairways are good, greens were a little soft. Rough is always long so keep it in fairway.. kinda confusing on where to drive cart between holes 7-8 , GPS will disable cart if you enter the at wrong area. Course has great potential just needs more play... play = revenue.
Rained for Days
But the staff had the course in good shape this morning. Fairways and greens were very playable.
Last several times we played the rough was deep enough to constantly loose balls and unreasonably slow play. Frustrating. Rough is a reasonable length now, hope it stays that way!
Recommend this course!
Felt like playing in my backyard
What a disappointment after reading recent reviews.. the fairways were longer than the grass in my yard. You could lose your ball in some fairways, and the grass had weeds and bare spots causing ball to disappear. The greens were also burnt out too, which is crazy with the wet spring.. will never play this course again.
Nice little course!
Golf Now map directions won’t get you there. Must be a “maps” problem. Close but not close enough. Great views of rolling hills and beautiful trees. Tight fairways and small greens that are in great condition. Bunkers are well sanded but need grooming. Fairway are ok to good but no bare spots. The place was deserted so made 18 in under three hours. Carts are good and have state of the art navigation touch system.
Champion Bermuda greens are on point!!
Do yourself a favor and come play this challenging and beautiful golf course in Southwest GA. Always a challenge from the tips and more enjoyable for intermediate/beginners from the white tees.
