Country Oaks Golf Course

There is still no water available on the course. With these summer time temps, someone is going to get hurt. They stopped putting out water during Covid. I was told by staff they would resume once Biden gave the OK. That was 5 years ago. Every other course in the area offers water on the course.

Bunkers are terrible. Some greens are fine, but some need some serious work. Still no water available on the course. It was taken off during Covid. I was told by staff, the water would be replaced after Covid was over. That was 5 years ago.

We had a good front 9. Then 2 groups jumped in front of us at the turn. No one likes slow play, but when it's caused by people that should have started on the front, it's frustrating.

It's a very nice course with friendly people. The name of the course tells you about the view of it. I really enjoyed playing there.

The course was in pretty good shape considering the recent rains. However, the bunkers need serious work. Also, please put water back out on the course. They took it away during Covid. That was 6 years ago. Time to stop being cheap, and put the water back out there.

Course dropped Rangers sometime ago. It's affected pace of play when course busy. But overall I would recommend course great value and friendly staff.

Not great today. Aerified and sanded about a month ago according to reviews but not recovered yet. Greens were bumpy enough that they are close to unputtable, but it is that time of the year, and tough to do much mowing after the downpour from last weekend. This course is always hit or miss and the sporadic rain doesn’t help. They have installed irrigation in the past year and are continuing to install more, so they are trying to improve conditions - Just no consistency currently. A temporary green on one of the best holes on the course plus pothole ridden shag carpet greens - not worth $50 and should be discounted right now…look forward to once they have recovered and into “season” shape.

This course is in bad shape. The greens are horrible and tee boxes and fairways are almost as bad. If it wasn’t a local course I wouldn’t play it again.

Greens aerated but putting not bad.

Grounds crew burning leaves and debris on a windy day. Smoke coming down 15th fairway, smoke getting in my eyes. Could not see green. Not a good choice to burn on an very windy day. Also a wild fire hazard.

Horrendous greens keeping, crappy layouts, they don’t blow leaves off the fairways or greens, overbooked tee times save your money and time and go to Cairo, 100x better than this place. When I have to choose between Thomasville or no golf no golf is the easy choice

Decent course, fair condition, but a good value if you just wanna get out and play 18.

We had a fun round today. It was hot, but we had a great time.

The course is recommended in the Thomasville, GA information. Beautiful setting. Tree-lined, somewhat tight. Very little water in play; few sand-traps; length was a bit confusing. Usually at 6,200 yards, all the holes are short. Not so here:) Several par-4s at or more than 400 yards (from the white tees). I rarely play from the tips anymore, but this layout would have stretched me on 5-6 holes. #7 200 yard par 3 from the whites. Simple layout - back and forth through the trees. Very flat but scenic. The greens were "interesting". They looked pretty ratty, but putted fairly well. Speed was slower than I expected. It was a nice experience but I'll go to the other GN course in the area to check it out. All in all, a very nice experience. I hit several balls on most holes; everyone I saw was friendly, the clubhouse is well appointed. I'll probably play here again when we return to the area.

It’s a short course but the layout is awesome! They were doing work on the greens on on the front 9 so I had to play the back 9 twice but other than that this course is amazing for the price and quality!
