Being from Michigan I’m not used to hard and dry fairways.I think it’s more indicative of the season .

I have been to Tired Creek several times now and the staff is always friendly and accomodating. Though it does have membership it has more of a muni feel. I think the one consistent issue I have with the course which can be controlled is the greens, They just do not get mowed often enough and there is never an effort to remove dew for early rounds. I have yet to play the course where the greens have been freshly mowed...ever. LOL. It would improve the playability and chances to make birdies and save pars. Each day I have played you just have to hit it hard and hope. A lot of the players are likely good old boys who may not know what to do and don't much care to fill in divots, repair ball marks, or rake traps. If you accept that and you want a nice day on the course at a decent price, this is a terrific option.
Great course and great staff. I love playing there. Other golfers are friendly and polite.
Good value.
Mostly flat course with wide fairways. Open with little vegetation in out of bounds areas. Greens need some work. Old pro shop. Overall, a very pleasant round
Great Course
Everything was great, except sand trays were bare. Need more sand please!!! Course layout is good, GPS in carts may need to be recalibrated. Very fun course!!!
Tired Creek
Course is as good as I have seen it in years. Staff ( Tori ) is always friendly. Always enjoy a round at Tired Creek!
