Chalet is a beautiful, challenging, shotmakers Course and well worth playing.

absolutely beautiful golf experience on wonderfully maintained track. awesome wooed views, great greens kept in perfect conditions. would suggest all experienced golfers to go out northwest and play here at least once or twice a year. the staff will also bend over backwards in order to make your round as pleasant experience as possible.

I have played Chalet Hills more times than I can count. This course is tough, theres no doubt about it... but even though its tough, its a fun course to play. Tight fairways, scenic views, quick greens. This is as good as it gets for public golf in the NW burbs.

Love this course, challenging, many unique holes, different challenges, nice par threes, water and sand challenges, fast greens, Beautiful scenery, Long holes challenging also...moving but would make this my home course if I was around, sternly recommend.....

This is a very nice course however, they need to try a bit harder attic king up the leaves. Greens are very fast and holes are tight...target golf at it's best. I would definitely play this course again and reccomend it but I would only pay $15-20 not $40-50 at least not in fall. Not as nice as Makray nor White Deer Run for the money.

Played yesterday; course in terrific condition; greens lightning fast. If they aerated already, you'd never know it. Gorgeous scenery w trees changing. Saw only 3 other groups out there.

A great course even at full price, made remarkably better with a golf now deal. This is my new go to for golf by the house.

Excellent course, great shape. Golfnow deal was too good to pass up. Course is difficult from Blue tees, driver not in your hand on a number of holes.

A very challenging. but memorable outing. Many blind and dogleged shots that a "home course knowledge' would be helpful. Our threesome teamed up w/ a regular for the back nine and he gave advice (& took some of our money!). Many undulating greens making for a fun putting experience. All in All a good track and very worthwhile.

Got Hot Deal for $15 so took my two boys out. The started was great - pulled up to me and say whenever you are ready - tee off. The course was in top shape minus the divots and ball marks that weren't fixed by players. My boys played about 9 holes and I played 18. The fairways were in great shape; the greens rolled fast. It was a windy day and must admit played a bit challenging. With the leaves falling, all the greens were cleared of leaves. It's about 50 min drive for me and it was worth playing with my boys and not feel rushed to finished by certain time. Recommend it and will come back.

Course was well maintained, though the golfers could help by repairing ball marks on the greens.

Chalet is a wonderful track....way too difficult for high handicapper...unless you're a solid 10 hcp or less you have no business playing anything but the whlte tees which are a 131 slope. Always keeps your interest. Was lucky to find a day where I could play through one foursome and get around in a leisurely 310....when crowded this course is a 6 hour death march as you wait and wait due to numerous water hazards. Sand traps were fair to poor at best (managed to miss them all).....greens were very decent except lots of brown ball marks and even with the light tee sheet fixed at least 3 fresh obvious ones on each green plus my own. Where's the windmill? It's at Chalet Hills this week - 5 holes where the cups were cut in unfair positions.....how could you have a 3 foot uphill par putt between two old cup positions that breaks slighltly left go four inches past the hole on the pro-side...stop,,,wobble and then start rolling back ending up six feet behind you....yes a complete stop....wiggle and then complete u-turn around the back of the hole never touching it. Above the hole twice from 10 feet.....good luck stopping it within 4 or 5 feet and then a couple sidehillers that almost got to the hole...almost stopped.... and then wiggled down slopes to no less than 10 feet. Can't chalk that up to the greens keeper having a bad morning cutting holes when there are that many and my putting skills frankly are pretty decent. The greens are just too fast on the stimp for the slope conditions in many areas of some of these greens. Other than that the course was in better shape than last year...rough was defined and a proper length. Chalet is definitely a track to play a couple times year (only when not crowded) when you can get a rate of $35 or under.....

Had an issue when I checked in...made our tee time on Golf Now, but club had no record of it. Staff was most apologetic and still got us out on time. Starter, pro shop, and snack bar staff were delightful. Brat at the turn was terrific.
Course was in good shape overall. Greens were a bit softbut decent speed. As public courses go, lots of unrepaired ball marks, unrated bunkers and u filled divots. Obviously not staff's fault, but come on people.
Bag drop and cart guys could use better training. Not communicative when unloading clubs and poor job rubbing up clubs at the end.
Forward tees were perfect for my 12 year old son, and beautiful day. We would definitely play again! Thanks!

The key to a good score is to control your tee shot on 5, 12 and 15. Anything off the fairway will end up with a double or worse more than likely.

Great course, all bent grass. Two island greens on 14 and 17, 18 is a beautiful par 5 around a lake. Everything very good, except group behind us hit into us twice, almost hitting my friend. If you know the group in front of you cannot move forward, BACK OFF

It took me & my son almost 6 hours to finish our round. Never saw a Rangr on the course to speed up pace. The greens were too soft. Players were not repairing ball marks on the green or raking sand traps. Sand traps full or big rocks. NOT pebbles big rocks. Group in front of us was blasting music from their cart while we were trying to tee off. The Starter & cart girl were very friendly. Pretty sad when thats the only good point I can make. Over priced for length of pace and course conditions.

Play there often. Great rates later in day. Staff very nice. Always in good condition. Excellent greens. Traps need work lots of wash-out.

Chalet offers a good challenge to the weekend golfer. Course was very good condition.
