Course adequate for cost. Beautiful surrounding. Could be an outstanding course with a little more investment.
Great course awesome staff!
This is a great course. The lady working in the pro shop was absolutely wonderful. She helped my boyfriend pick out a new putter and fitted him for a new glove, which both worked out great! Would recommend this course to anyone.
Continuing to improve
Freancis Lake hasn't always had the best reputation as a place to play. That should be changing rapidly. No, it's not a pristine, perfect course but it's much improved and continuing to get better. #17 was closed for complete green replacement and 1 other hole on the front had 1/2 the green closed . The fairways are in good condition with a few spots being repaired.
If you want a perfect course, look elsewhere. If you want a good quality, fun course with an extremely friendly staff, this is the place for you.
Great Price but no Rain Check
Booked tee time for a great price but had a summer storm pop up after the 3rd hole. We tried to wait it out for about 30 minutes but it looked like it was going to stay so we tried to get a raincheck. Pro shop said they couldn't give a raincheck since I booked with GolfNow. Fairways were in fair condition but greens looked pretty good.
Great Staff And Improving Course
Played this course pretty regulatory over the past 3 months. I know that other courses might be nicer but the staff at Francis Lake makes you feel like family. Great price overall for the course and it can be as challenging as you let it be. The recent rain has really helped out the course and the fairways are coming in nice. Greens are in OK shape while the bunkers are decent. Again, other courses might be nicer but the staff here are great. J.R. (The owner) will definitely take care of you.
