Mill Creek 5/14/25
Course was great, very friendly and helpful staff, greens great, sand in bunkers, just no bar or snacks.
Mill Creek golf
The course was in great shape, pace of play on a Wednesday was slow, but not too bad. They have not opened up the bar, which I thought was open for at least drinks and chips.
Mill Creek is solid, not great
First time I've played since it has re-opened. The course conditions were ok. Some tees need some work, there were some bare spots in the fairway but generally the course was in good shape. Pace was right at 4 hours. With GolfPass discounts, I paid $12 with cart - that's hard to beat.
Needs some Work
First Mill Creek is a ball-eating course so bring a fair share of balls with you. If you duff a shot, there's a good possibility that your ball will end up in thick brush, woods, water or out of bounds. Second, the tee boxes were chewed up and needs some TLC. I've played this course several times over the years and every time there are some very wet areas of the course, They either water it too much or the course has very bad drainage. Also, although Mill Creek has a club house, for whatever reason it's never open so if you're hoping to enjoy a beverage at the 19th hole that is not going to happen. This could be decent course but it needs work and adjustments. I don't plan on playing this course again in the near future unless I get an incredible deal.
Good course that could be much better
This course is a great layout but has struggled with management for years. It’s a fun track, just needs some TLC and a serious management team. Course is in good shape, some areas need turf management improvements but generally well maintained. Clubhouse is really not much and there isn’t a lot of of drink / food / snack options. Reasonably priced compared to courses in surrounding area and generally a good pace of play every round.
Terrible and run down
Played a few years back and course was pretty nice. Holy cow... step below a park district course now. Total waste of time and money
