Hawaii Prince Golf Club - A/B Nines
About
Located on the west side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii Prince Golf Club is situated on what was once prime sugar cane land. Now the land provides 27 holes of challenging golf with panoramic views of the Waianae Mountain Range. There are three nines that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. A/B is the least difficult of the combinations but there is still plenty of character and variety throughout the golf course. Water hazards come into play on nine holes and there are sand bunkers strategically placed throughout. Although it is considered the least challenging, the A/B features one of the most difficult of all the holes at the club, the last hole on the B course. It is a par 4 with water to the left, front, and right of the tee and it usually plays into the trade winds.

Nice open course Photo submitted by Devin1073124 on 04/27/2013
Great value for non-residents
Played last minute all by myself for less than $60. Never had to wait and no one was behind me at any time.. Course is relatively flat with generous fairways and water hazards that do not come into play unless you make a pretty bad swing. Greens are in good shape, with manageable speed and break. GPS was not working and didn’t find many distance markers. Not a spectacular course but ideal for working on your game.
Worth a Return
Three 9’s with a mix of water sand and lots of hilly terrain. Only real negative is the course overall was dry from precipitation and they have clipped the fairways much shorty than needed as there were many ‘burned’ areas from the mowers. Greens were fair, layout was challenging. We’ll worth the visit. There is a large practice facility however you were limited to mats on the range. Proshop had limited access due to Covid. Our next visit may include dinner in the restaurant. The course is located in a flight path for the airport, otherwise no complaints.
Very nice very user friendly enough water to make it challenging nice wide fairways
Too slow
Just to slow waiting on every shot 5:40 hours not good
On course help
There was none. The cart attendant assigned a cart to us and that’s all of the information provided. There was no starter to tell us when to tee off, there were no player’s assistants/marshals on the course. The twosome ahead of us was extremely slow.
Great course but slow play
Great course but took 5 hours to play on a Friday afternoon hotdeal.
No Marshall due to Covid sick staff.
Mentioned slow play and pro shop took 20% of shirt purchase.
Would play again!
Typical island course.
Course was very wet from all the recent rain in Oahu. Would have played better if it was dry.
