Hawaii Prince Golf Club - A/B Nines
About
Located on the west side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii Prince Golf Club is situated on what was once prime sugar cane land. Now the land provides 27 holes of challenging golf with panoramic views of the Waianae Mountain Range. There are three nines that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. A/B is the least difficult of the combinations but there is still plenty of character and variety throughout the golf course. Water hazards come into play on nine holes and there are sand bunkers strategically placed throughout. Although it is considered the least challenging, the A/B features one of the most difficult of all the holes at the club, the last hole on the B course. It is a par 4 with water to the left, front, and right of the tee and it usually plays into the trade winds.

Nice open course Photo submitted by Devin1073124 on 04/27/2013
Fly in the restaurant
The play and course was good.
The food in the restaurant was ok , however there are many flies trying to sit on the table.
Please try to get rid of them.
Florida Layout in Hawaii
Flat course, reminded me of a nice Florida layout with plenty of water (not all in play). Greens were in great condition. Played early as a 2 ball, got around quickly.
Good fairway condition. But no blue tee box
There were black tee box {champion } and white tee box , but i could not find the blue tee box i used to play. What happened ?
The distance between black TB and white TB was too far . I had to play at white TB.
pace of plays does not exist
Course is in good shape, and the people are friendly enough, but between the fivesomes and the 35 yr old male foursomes who do not rake any traps, and generally disrespect the course, the pace of play is abysmal. 5 hours and 15 min on Saturday, and 5 hours and 10 min on Sunday.
Come on, 4 and a half hours is excruciating, this is like sitting in a dentist's chair. I don' t care who you are, you cannot keep a swing for more than 5 hours. I have played in many a club championship, and no one, I mean no one, plays as slow as the people I observed. This is not the people who run the course's fault, but the management who allow fivesomes without a course marshall. Pace of place is integral to the enjoyment of a round, and if St. Andrew's can insist on a 3 and 3/4 hour round of golf, over five hours is just painful. you simply can't get into a rhythm or flow. Again, the people are kind, but are employed at the whim of the management. Shame on the management for showing such disrespect for the paying customers.
Great time
Played 18 on C & A from white tees. 3 hour round 2 players. Course was challenging and in good shape. Greens a bit slow. First time in Hawaii and first time this course. Loved it!
1 golfer play
There are too many 1 golfer players and it sometimes irritates playing because thr rhythm of the play .
It is recommended to combine 1 golf players as two players so that the flow of the play is smooth in the field.
Great value for Hawaii
Good layout, moderately challenging, great pace of play . accessible and an excellent staff and restaurant.
Very good course
So far, it is one of the best courses that I played in Hawaii. The fairway and green conditions are perfect . I will definitely play it in the future.
Courses C & B = Captivatingly challenging & beautiful open layout
Pace of play was great and condition of greens and fairways were exemplary. Enjoyed my round immensely.
Hawaii Prince
Enjoyable afternoon. Columbus Day and not crowded, felt like our private GC.
Beautiful course but hasi no marshall
Although this corse sees quite a bit of play, management could certainly do a better job of marshalling. First, I never saw a marshall during my 5 and a half hour round of golf. Second, the pace of play was poor. Third, as there was no marshall the group in front took the liberty to park their golf cart "on" every green and tee box as it was quite hot that day. Lastly, the course was in really great shape with the greens running true and fast (about an 11 on speed). If you don't mind slow play and no golf etiquet then this is your llace to go.
Easy going
I have played this course several times. When the wind is down it is too easy, when the wind is up it is too hard. Solution: play from the blue tees in the calm; from the whites in the wind.
Yesterday, the fairways were excellent; the greens less so, but still playable.
I will play it again.
Great round
Good value (package: Waikiki transport + Club rental and 18H with cart). In good shape. Like the water and the different trees. Bunkers are too hard. Rental clubs are good. Would def play again.
This course is forgiving
The fairways and rough were in marginal condition. The fairways were fairly wide. The greens were bumpy and the roll varied from hole to hole.
Hawaii Honolulu - April 2016
Enjoyed the day. The course was in good condition.
greens in aeriation
I played in mid March 2016 a they reduced the price due to greens aeration. Course has lots of water and is in average shape.
