The peacocks are so domesticated they come right up to you. The views were marvelous. The carts didn’t have enough power for those hill climbs. I loved the advantages for the womens tee boxes but the were pretty shabby and unlevel. Would golf here again though!

Beautiful course up in the mountains . Very challenging and hilly. Played in a lot of clouds and mist. Greens were in great shape. Fairways were a little patchy and muddy. Love the peacocks!

They have been working hard to get the course back to where it used to be. Weed eradication efforts on fairways and tee boxes have paid off. Greens are the best on the island. Amenities are currently lacking as the clubhouse is being rebuilt and they are currently working out of temporary trailers. Golf carts are new. They are celebrating 30 year anniversary and will have specials coming up. Best value for golf on Big Island but not for beginning golfers as it can be challenging.

Views and wildlife make it worthwhile as well.

$28 for a round of golf in Hawaii. I am so happy with the Hot Deals! Weather was perfect. Course is being renovated but was in great shape.

We really wanted to like this course. The course has a fun layout with lots of elevation changes. The greens were in pretty good shape, but we'd suggest they sell divot repair tools in the clubhouse and teach people how to use them. As others have said, you will probably lose a few balls here since the fairways slope toward the ocean and very deep rough which can penalize what you thought was a great shot off the tee. Due to the drought, there were a lot of dead spots in the fairway. They were getting ready to overseed, so all the tee boxes were temporary. This course could become a hidden gem with some more work. From what we could see, they also do your starting hole differently than other courses. Instead of starting on hole one, you just drive around until you find an open tee box and start your round there. Our pace of play was pretty good for the first 6 holes until two guys jumped in ahead of us on 7 and then four clowns cut between us and the twosome on hole 11. We might check this place out again on our next trip since the price was right and the layout was challenging.

Course is absolutely awesome, greens are solid, fairways need some work but overall a great phu-Ken course the views spectacular looks like course is in middle of a jungle a definite course to play when on the big island

Fairways need help it’s like playing in a field that was just mowed greens are almost perfect

I played here just the other day and it is just an amazing golf course. The layout is fantastic, practice putting greens roll similar to the greens on course, and the scenery around the golf course is absolutely amazing.

However when I played it the fairways were almost non existent, it was like the entire course was just a cut of rough. Obviously they haven’t mowed the fairways for quite some time and are a little over do for it.

The greens were very nice however rolling smooth and quick. Just the fairways were not so nice.

Crazy jungle course with lots of elevation changes and nice greens. Good value for the money, have to be a decent golfer to keep score. Bring balls and enjoy the wildlife.

This course looks like it was hacked out of the jungle. Fairways challenging but interesting. With a lot of work they can turn this into a world class course
