Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

No control over the pace of play.
It always takes 5 1/2 hrs to play a round of golf. The have terrible course management and never apologize for the pace of play. No more. I’m not going back. There are so many other courses to play. Don’t waste your time waiting at each hole and every other shot.
Slowwww
The course is great and in very good shape, but it took us 5+ hours to play 18 holes. Some of the slowest pace of play I’ve seen in a long time. Felt like an eternity, waiting on every tee box until the 18Th hole when it was basically dark and the group in front of us quit...
Excited to play
This is a fun and challenging course for me i enjoy attending as much as possible
Recently arrared. Greens still bumpy in areas.
Overall good round. This a better value for this course would be $60-65 w/ cart.
Marshall was very friendly and we enjoyed the gps tracking on the golf carts
Lots of fun
Great course and great views. Pretty wide open with great variety in terrain and hole layout. Highly recommend.
The bunkers we’re hard and ungroomed. The cost was not in great condition
Great day at Racoon
The course at RC is quite unique in how it is built on an old farm basically right in the city. They kept a lot of the old structures and even turned the farmhouse into the clubhouse. Nice little bar and pro shop inside with a patio that has a nice view of the course.
The layout is pretty challenging and I found the green especially tricky to read. It was a fun day but the pace of the course was easily the worst part, very, very, slow. We were backed up start to finish essentially. I was also told about this by a friend before I went, so it seems to be quite common. We went at noon on a Tuesday to give a little context as well.
Overall a fun time on a beautiful day.
Good fun
This was my 1st time playing at Raccoon creek, it was pretty fun and I had a good time with my game. Well groomed course and good staff.
No carts
Course was great considering time of year. Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Just wish we could still have a cart. Just do cart path only like other courses. Overall a beautiful course though.
Great fall conditions
A little breezy on a sunny, fall day. The course is still green and in really good shape. Lot's of geese make for parts of the course to be pretty messy, but I guess that's expected on a course with water on it.
The greens were still relatively fast and smooth for the most part. This course gets lots of play, so not all the ball marks get repaired. They're still adhering to the COVID limitations, so no rakes in the bunkers.
The pace of play was about 4 hrs and 15 min, which seems to be acceptable, though we found ourselves waiting on several holes, particularly on the back-9. The Marshal's seem to be ornamental, as they didn't speak to us, nor ask any groups to pick up the pace.
The layout centers around the bodies of water and the creeks, which make it interesting and fun. Several holes you have to stop and think before you just bomb away with the driver. The GPS on the carts are a nice touch and helpful if you've never played the course before. Definitely worth playing, a little pricey, so wait for a GolfNow deal!!
Too much goose poop!
This is a well-designed course, interesting layout, nice clubhouse and amenities. Unfortunately it was completely covered with goose poop! The greens were generally clean but aside from that it was just everywhere. It tainted the whole experience (literally and figuratively). I’ve never seen anything like it. If they could eliminate or at least reduce this problem this would be a great course, but unless and until they do I’ll be playing elsewhere.
Great course. Slow play.
Granted they had a frost delay, but seriously, it took over 6 hours to play 18 holes. Other than that it was pretty awesome.
Always slow
This course is always slow. Great course that is pretty, well maintained, with gorgeous views. However, it is always slow.
