Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Great layout!
For this time of year the course was in great shape. Greens rolled good and were fast. Golf now price of $49 was well worth it. Pace of play is usually slow here but we played 5 in 4 hours with 2 walkers. Will definitely play again.
One of Few Denver Metro Courses Open During COVID-19 Pandemic
Had not played since they built the new clubhouse, (which looks awesome from the outside but due to COVID-19 was not open). New clubhouse location makes it feel more spacious and open for practice area/warming up plus extra parking. Had good COVID-19 policies in place and was walking only, moderate to walk, just one uphill on par 5 #15. Course had recently been aerated but greens were fairly decent with the sanding. Fairways had some rough patches but overall mostly good lies. Pace of play was near 5 hours but not long waiting on any one tee. No two holes alike, with plenty of water penalty areas. I was surprised how much I had to keep driver in the bag and use 3-wood and 4-wood even though blue tees at 6700+ yards would seem pretty long even for Colorado. On many par 4s and par 5 #11 it's a lot about placing your tee shot in the right area for an angle to the green as opposed to driving as far as you can and hoping for a short iron or wedge. I used to play here a lot back in the 1990s and 2000s when I lived closer, so it was fun to play again after 15-year hiatus. Wind kept shifting direction and gusts on us so it was tricky day for club selection but made for extra challenge! If you've never played here give it a shot, definitely one of Denver metro perennial top public courses and value.
Early March
Course was soggy in places but still good condition! Not bad for 66 degrees and March 9th!!!
Raccoon Creek
Played this course numerous times by far worst conditions I’ve seen. Chunks missing from greens, uneven tee boxes, loud geese and goose poop everywhere!! If I hadn’t got a pay in advance discount I would’ve complained to the club house!! Cart girl came by once in 18 holes, the starter was a douche when 1st starting and this was the only time playing anywhere I was FORCED to share a cart with a stranger!! Probably won’t be going back anytime soon!! And, for 75$ (normal rate) a round you’d think they’d toss in a small warm up bucket......they don’t!! Oh and I’ve never seen so many pairs of jeans on a golf course!! Lol.
Lots of water
Always a fun course to play. Usually in pretty good shape. I think there is water on 13 holes so plenty of trouble around. New clubhouse and new carts with GPS. Will definitely play this course again.
Good, challenging course, golf surf boards, a fun day
This was my 5th time, my wife's 1st, and my buddies' 2nd and 5th times. The staff made it easy at check-in, even letting us go early with a light tee sheet ahead of us. The weather was a bit cool with wind, but it just added to the challenges of the course. The golf surf boards are a definite plus for fun. 2 of us walked. The leaves weren't too bad. The greens were tough with wind and slopes but putted well. #2, 4, 11, & 17 were particularly tough with the 2-3 club wind. Overall, a fun day! Thanks!
Slowwwww
Front took 3 hours and 15 minutes. Got to ten and the Ranger is asking me a bunch of questions like I snuck on the course. Maybe he should get on the front and worry about the pace of play. He suggested I should join the two in front of me and there was only a foursome. Did two holes on the back thinking it may break up. It didnt and just decided to go home. Didshoukd have asked for a refund.
Very enjoyable layout.
Truly enjoyed playing Raccoon Creek. Wonderful layout. It had challenges, but also playable for everyone. Reading the reviews prior to playing there were several complaints about slow play, but our foursome was just over four hours. If I had only one thing to say negatively is the tee boxes were in marginal shape. A little wet, uneven and beat up. Still easy enough to find a spot for your tee shot. Overall a really good track!
Won't be back
Thursday afternoon resulted in a 5 hour round with waiting on every shot. Saw a marshall once in 18 hours and they were 50 yards away. Bad design with multiple water hazards at 170-210 yards from the blue tees (6500 yards) with too short white tees. Only saw food cart on 8 and 17. Course wasn't in bad condition and would be walkable, but the normal (according to the regulars in my group) slow play will result in my going elsewhere.
The BOMB
Absolute fun! Awesome course awesome layout beautiful scenery. I had a great time thank you Raccoon Creek!!! I will be back!! TBurbank
Green speeds slow, good shape overall
Almost really really good. Slow green speeds and some areas of concern across the course. Overall in good shape, but atm full rac rate is too much.
Nice new look
Racoon Creek has a whole new look same great layout fabulous new farmhouse clubhouse. Too bad bartender was about as friendly as a pay toilet in a diarrhea ward. Rude inattentive and not very friendly
Younger bar backs were better
Ordered a small dinner salad that was covered with shredded cheese way to much seemed more cheese than salad. Was disgusting.
I’ll be back to golf but probably avoid the bar restaurant as we sat at a table till we were sick of being ignored after golfing and had to move to the seats at the bar to actually get any service if you could call it that from the previously mentioned mr. personality.
Nice course!
Course was in great shape. Well worth the $57 dollar GN rate. Read reviews that said the course was notorious for slow play and it was correct. 5 hour round on a Friday. Marshals on course but it didn’t help. Course has a lot of trouble, trees and water on nearly every hole.
I've been playing this course for many years and it never disappoints! I was pleasantly surprised to see the new Clubhouse, very nice and the whole layout fits right in with the course! I would always recommend playing this course!
Great course
Enjoyed the course layout, liked the creek in most holes. Golf carts with GPS was cool.
