Raccoon Creek Golf Course

About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Played in passing storm
Greens had been punched recently (small hole punch) and were not true. Recent sodding around bunkers that had been removed.
Surprisingly interesting layout
Cool layout. Lot of unique holes. Would love to see this course in summer conditions especially the greens. Lot of slope
Tee boxes are awful and the round was slow
Every single tee box is bumpy and inconsistent, so it’s impossible to find a flat lie within the tee area. And it took 4:45 minutes to play 18. I’ve played here a few times now, and I just can’t figure out why they charge so much for this course. It’s a $60 course at best.
Goose Crap...avoid in the winter
I signed up, with the promise of getting a cart for the round. Unfortunately, due to rain the night before they made it walking only. Although I got a complimentary walking cart, it wasn't worth it. The course is covered in goose crap, and honestly in extremely poor condition for $60/person. I played Green valley ranch earlier in the week and it was in far better condition for $40 with cart.
Golfnow refused to refund my cart fee as well, after sitting on hold for a while. This will most likely be the last time I play this course. It used to be nice. It has been a warm winter and every other course I've played has been maintained and half the price of Racoon Creek.
I don't understand how they are charging double the rates, but are taking care of the course half as well. Guess that's inflation for you....👎👎👎
Enjoyed My First Outing
Overall my first outing at Raccoon Creek was very enjoyable. The only drawback was the slow play - almost 5 hours for 18 holes. I'm a senior and I played from the forward tees. Lucky I did, as it eliminates some of the hazards that go along with the back tees.
Great course, terrible club house food experience
Raccoon creek exceeded my expectations. We played the back nine and finished in 2hrs15min. We were never held up on a hole. Course was in great shape for end of Oct. Pretty holes. Lots of water but made for a scenic round!
We tried to have drinks/food at the club house afterwards. We got there at 12:30 and needed to leave by 1. There was only one bartender who told us there was only one cook in the kitchen. We ordered our food to go after we were told it would take a little longer than usual because there was a private event in their conference room. At 1 o clock we went inside to tell the bartender we couldn’t wait any longer. Bad management in the restaurant as we ordered two wraps and chips and an brat and it still wasn’t done by the time we had to leave. Bartender was stressed but she should have just told us there was no way our food would be ready in time. Great golf experience followed by a measley restaurant one.
WHAT
group of literal children in front of us with one of them tomahawking his 60 repeatedly into the greens. got cut by random groups multiple times. wild stuff!
