Maui Nui Golf Club

Not just an expensive resort course. Maui Nui was way more challenging than the Wailea courses, just not as plush at less than half the price.

Great layout. Course runs a smidge narrow in some areas which makes it’s a little challenging. Back 9 is more forgiving. Great time. Staff is friendly. Good for beginners and up.

This course offers great rental clubs that also include 6 Callaway balls. Beautiful views, but watch out for the wind.

Everything was as good as expected! Still waiting for hole 17 to reopen. Could use better lunch options! Cart girl was great

Staff was friendly, bar service is good.

Course is in decent shape, except greens are poor - rough, uneven, inconsistent.

Pace of play was slow, 4 3/4 hours.

Shed at driving range is filthy.

Washrooms were clean.

The course is in fair condition but the malfunctioning gps and changed up holes made it pretty frustrating. Most people use a gps watch or even the gps on the cart and many holes were not where they said they would be.

We have played this course before and really liked it. Unfortunately, the severe storms that we have had has really affected the course. I think they have done a good job with repairs but it is going to take some time before this course can fully recuperate. They are doing the best that they can.

The course is in reasonably decent shape. The greens need work as they’re quite ragged and bumpy.

Some areas of the course are prone to being muddy after it rains; perhaps these areas could be paved.

Staff was friendly and bar afterwards was fun.Bar prices were reasonable.

The inside of the shed at the driving range is filthy and needs a good cleaning.

Washrooms were clean.

Green fees are a bit on the high side, particularly if you’re Canadian dealing with the exchange rate.

Overall we were satisfied.

Though one of the least expensive courses on Maui, this was very disappointing. Many, many problems on the greens - bare ground (no grass), shaggy, bumpy. Some tees also bare ground, some fairways also in very bad shape.

Some nice vistas, both toward the ocean and toward the mountains. Friendly staff.

Course conditions were NOT good. I don't feel it's a good use of $100 (I was visiting from Minnesota) Disappointing as I really wanted to like this course.

Lots of either disease, golfer abuse (failure to repair pitch marks)or just winter lack of growth has resulted bare spots. Course has #17 under reconstruction so added a par 3 at #2. Great value for Hawaii and overall a B+ experience.
