Designed by Robin Nelson, The Dunes at Maui Lani is immaculately maintained and brilliantly laid out. It is a tribute to the great links courses of Ireland that more than one golf writer has described as a "British Open course on Maui." Stunning dunes dot the terrain at every corner, challenging the golfer at every hole.

In addition to 18 holes of championship golf, The Dunes offers the only lighted practice range in central Maui, with grass tees, fairway and green-side bunkers and a pitching and putting green, plus an air-conditioned pavilion. Also, when not on the golf course, golfers can enjoy a four-star meal at Cafe O'Lei at The Dunes.

Beautiful Challenging Unique Course

Easy check-in, great course layout, and beautiful greens. Pace was very good. The bathrooms on course need some fixing up and not having any amenities on course while playing is a bummer. But the pace was perfect and the course was fun and challenging. Will definitely be playing this course again.

Course is in great shape with a great layout. Challenging but fair! It took 4.5 hrs to play - a little too slow as we waited every shot after the 7th hole. No cart person to buy refreshments from on course. Well worth the price we paid though!! We have booked again already!!

Played the plantation course the day before and you can’t compare to that course but for the price this is a fun course and greens were in good shape. Kapalua Plantation was in the best shape that I have seen and greens on a different level. I would still recommend playing this course
