Pukalani Country Club

The fairways were good but the rough was rough with 12” unmowed second cut. Appears to be a financial shortfall with no funds to have mowing done. One fairway (16?) has been turned into the fist 100 yards tall unmowed. Sad to see it in unmaintained state.

Greens are super long and very very slow. Looks like the course has not been mowed or maintained in weeks. Pretty rough. No ranger or starter. Very slow play and chaotic with several two-somes being let out seperate. Used to be a great track, it's gone downhill.

Played there many times, staff always friendly, got to tee off early. Pace is normally good, but was warned ahead of time back 9 only, so we didn’t really care. Came directly from airport, wonderful way to kill time before checking in to lodging.

There was no notification onlyb 9 holes were open to play twice due to aeration.

If you know how Hawaii charges visitors double/triple the resent's rate, you will be pleased to know beause of GolfNow we are paying the local rate. Maui is extremely expensive, and this course is well maintained, good layout, and fun to play with. The staff are very friendly too.

Greens were beautiful. Overall course conditions were good.

Didn’t expect to have as amazing of a time, but it is fun course and the conditions were the best ever. 3rd and 14th were the most fun. There were so many bats it was crazy late afternoon. Would absolutely recommend when on island

I booked this because of the price ($45 with a cart on Maui). I was concerned when we arrived, rundown trailer for a clubhouse and pro shop. However, the course was in good condition, the greens were excellent, the bunker were very good. It was a 60 minute drive from Kaanapali, pace of play was frustrating because of yahoo-ers, but it was Sunday afternoon and very inexpensive.

Best golf value on Maui.

The course is in the best condition I’ve played on for past many years.

Greens are in awesome condition.

Fairways were in great shape.

Views and the course layout through neighborhood is just a nice ride with fun golf.

Don’t miss playing Pukalani while in Maui.

Front 9 plays like a typical exucitve municipal course...back 9 8s absolutely incredible!

I played 4 courses on Maui in May 2026 and Pukalani had the best greens, great views, and certainly the best value.

Overall an excellent experience. Clubhouse was closed when we came around at 9 holes.. feel like it should be open till at least an hour from close. Pace of play was not being monitored by rangers. Got stuck behind 3 different groups. Had to skip 18 to have carts in on time. If rangers had enforced pace of play this would not have been an issue.

Overall excellent course for value. Would highly recommend.

I would love to play here regularly...only if I lived here.
