About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Great place to enjoy a fun round.
The staff were very nice. We played in less than 4 hours. The greens were great.
Just fine for the price
Super slow but when you are not paying resort charges what can you expect.
Busy
Busy place, 4 hr round tho. Great shape. Cafe closed
Need a golf Marshall
The only downside to this course was pace and no one monitoring. We had a group of teenage boys in front of us, wearing slides and just hacking the ball. If a Marshall would have been present it would have prevented this type of behavior from occurring. But the prove was super reasonable.
Great place to play except for really slow play…
I loved playing the course. We played twice - the first round we finished in just less than four hours, but the Saturday round took five hours. Maybe weekdays are best.
Interesting course
I played here first time， Staff here are very nice. Course is interesting. Maintenance can be a little better. I gave rating of 4 for course condition, but really it should be 3.5. Not bad choice If you like to play a reasonable priced golf course.
Great time
This course was in great shape, greens were really good. Great value for golf on Maui. Will definitely add to our list for each visit.
Diamond in the rough!
This place was a gem. Super challenging with elevation changes and wind was wild. Loved this course! You can’t beat the price for a course like this. Green are in perfect condition.
Nice course. Terrible cart guys
Every time I play here I’m shocked with the attitude from the cart guys that give you a cart. Huge egos, unfriendly, They like to let you know who’s in charge. Good value for the money besides the cart guys. They just need to be fired. Other staff is great.
