Mililani Golf Club

First of all, I have to say that I've never been a fan of this course in that in my opinion, the upkeep of some parts are fair at best. That led me to steer clear of playing here in the past but since this course was supposedly taken over by a new owner, I figured we'd give it a shot again. I'm sad to say that there hasn't been much improvement!
First of all, let me say that over all, the greens were in good shape and were pretty darn quick. A couple of them were a little patchy, but for the most part, very good in that category. Where this course fails in my opinion is that the fairways were rock hard in some areas with very sparse grass. The other thing that bugged me was the condition of the sand traps. Very thin layer of sand that made bunker play a guessing game as to how to approach the shot. Nothing worse than to play a standard bunker shot only to find out that you're hitting off a half inch of sand and solid red dirt beneath it.

Nice course with beautiful trees.
No tricked up holes & fairly flat course.
Greens on front 9 seemed faster than greens on back 9.

Staff is very friendly. UH had last game of yr so course was empty! We played in a little over 3 hrs. 2 groups let us through. They had a demo day so we were able to check out the latest toys. Great value for the price :)

Getting better, greens a little slow but nice. Pace was good cause of rain. Cart path only.

The first thing you notice is the great scenery, lots of beautiful trees lining the fairways. Fairways are wide enough to keep most trees out of play. The staff is super friendly. Pace of play is acceptable.

Due to the torrential rains on the previous day, I expected the course to be very wet, but it was a lot better than expected. The greens were a bit slow due to the wetness but very consistent. I'd never seen the greens in better shape and can't wait to play the course when dry.

I am a 11-12 HCP. Played a 4-some at 7 a.m. so was able to get around the track at a good pace. The tree-lined fairways and water canals make tee shots a challenge. Its a short course, so blue tees won't be too difficult. The greens rolled very well. The course staff are all very nice. So many trees that it is impossible remove all the leaves, so expect it.

I enjoyed playing there but for the value, it is a little high considering the greens fee, especially considering the number of nicer courses on the island.

I would still play here again.

I haven't been here in years. The greens are 100% better than the last time I played here. The cart paths look like the were all recently redone. The fairways and rough need to be worked on. All in all for a $25 rate not a bad deal. The pace of play was an issue our round took 5 hours and 15 minutes.

I play Mililani more than any other course because of proximity...But that does not mean it's not a great course to play. Great holes make for some interesting layouts. The restaurant is awesome. I would recommend this course to anyone considering a round. MT

Nice course. New owners have put a lot of work into fixing it up.
It used to be the leaves were so bad you could lose a ball in them.

DON'T BOOK TEE TIMES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC WHEN YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED SHOTGUN TOURNAMENT OF 6 SOMES. 5 1/2 HOURS OF TORTURE.

The course is in fair condition and not as good as the courses I have been playing in California.

A great deal at twilight, the course was pretty well maintained and the pace was excellent. Easy to recommend.

Challenging course for a poor driver of the golf ball as trees are on both sides of nearly every fairway. Greens were recently air raided, but rolled pretty well considering. Staff is always friendly and the eatery has great food. I play here about 4 times a year and when the greens are good...rolls perfect. Hit the range and sort the driver out before u play though....fair warning.

I play this course about once a month. The course is getting better each time I play. The greens are in pretty good shape now, but the fairways need lots of attention. When you drive down the middle and still have a lousy lay is a bit frustrating.

Wide fairways in good condition. Beautiful trees of differing variety made every hole interesting. There were a lot of wet places in the fairways on the back nine. We were allowed to take to cart to our car in the parking lot for loading and unloading equipment. The friendly pro gave us avaluable course guide book that was quite useful on this, our first round on this course. Greens were in good condition and just fast enough to keep our attention.

Course well maintainined, starter very helpful, fast play that day.
