Reviews
Excellent
I love playing out at Edgewood. I'm going to start playing by myself because the guy that plays golf with me is unreliable I paid for our round and he canceled at the last minute.I will continue to play out there.i love the course I learned to play on.thanl you for being a good but challenging course Tony jones
Good Golf
Good golf day, but the golfers need to have better etiquette. One golfer jumped in front of us on hole 10 without asking. Most of the greens had ball divots since golfers were not repairing their marks.
Great course for the money
Very good course to play. If you find a better course for the money, please let me know. Awesome staff and course layout. Definitely recommend!
Mixed bag
Very clear pros and cons
Pros:
-Best public course in the Springfield area regardless of price. Add in the $18-$25 hot deals to ride 18, and it’s a no brainer even with a longer drive.
-Has been in great shape throughout winter and spring and is still in great shape.
-A lot of birdie opportunities
-Greens and sand traps are pretty consistent
-Lots of ducks, geese, and squirrels that aren’t intrusive
Cons:
-Once you get on the course, anything can happen with pace of play. There will be stretches where there’s no one on the course and stretches where stuck behind a 6-some or five 2-some
-You will be swarmed with bugs for 18 holes (although this isn’t uncommon rn in the Midwest)
-Holes 15 and 16
I will continue to play here, but I wouldn’t mind stricter pace of play enforcement
Great place
This is my favorite area course. My good friend doesn’t like the course, but he’s a loser.
We live Edgewood
Edgewood is the nicest course around for the price, friendliness, and quality. Wish I lived a little closer.
