Lincoln Greens Golf Course

Pace was terrible. No marshals on course. Took 4 1/2 hours to play 17 holes. Skipped a hole to get ahead of one slow bunch

The course should have been closed due to all of the standing water in the fairways.

The day started off great but got real bottlenecked at the turn. Due to this the back 9 was rushed with the group behind up not giving us any space at all even sitting on our holes bench while we were waiting for the group in front of us. It just made for awkward pressure. Once we finally got spaced back out a random pair of teens with one set of clubs jumped in front of us at the 15th hole which screwed everything up again and worse. Grass was overgrown in places making play difficult. Will still go back again with hopes of a better experience.

Starter was extremely rude, was mad at my group of 4 for being on time for our tee time. Paired a single with my already group of 4, group behind us only had 3. Then after 7 holes told us we were playing slow…. Course looks like it gets mowed and maintenance once a month. Bunkers are dirt and some sand. I’d recommend playing anywhere else.

Great layout, friendly staff, nice carts. The fairways were in rough shape though.

Very poor grass on tees & fairways. Not sure what has happened as it's been an ok Illinois summer, but course is a long way from being even average. Didn't know they'd also be aerateing, maybe a step in right direction. Greens were acceptable. A nice layout, a shame it's in current condition.

It’s in terrible shape, so many bare spots. Leftover marks on the green from when they tried to aerate this year. The mower, wearing a cowboy hat, watched me pipe a drive on 12 and then proceeded to run right over my ball with the mower. STAY AWAY
