Beautiful layout
Very narrow fairways, tough greens to read. Beautiful layouts! This is the course you always want to come back to play again and again and it’s very challenging and interesting..
Very sporty course
The course was in good condition. The greens are a bit pock marked with ball marks people neglected to fix.
Great GC
Five somes a pain
Five somes are the bane of courses, not one today but two. Need to ban for pace of play.
A real gem
All courses should ban 5 somes. I ran into two back to back. They may be members and or regulars, but this why young people don't flock to the game. It slows up a game that's already to slow.
Good times
Course was in good shape, fast greens which are great, the only thing I wasn’t happy is the turn food shop. We ordered two brats but they only had hotdogs which was fine but the gentleman wasn’t wearing gloves touching the buns specially with everything going on, I also ordered a beer that had mold inside the rim and when I went back he grab another one that looked the same so I asked for a different kind no mold but had dirt! Clean inside the coolers and cooking area and maybe the beer cans.
I love this course
The course in great shape. The staff are very friendly and the members are very accommodating.
Challenging and Fun
Well designed and maintained course with a nice variety of hole layouts and distances. Good course for both average and above-average golfers. Private community results in limited availability to play here, but worth playing here when you can.
Crown jewel
During this lockdown crazy time
Playing golf is more than fun almost therapeutic
Course is very well maintained layout is great
No giveme holes
Enjoyed and highly recommend
Best condition out of any “public” course in NW suburbs
This is a private course that opens up to guests very rarely through hot deals. It’s worth every penny. The course has a very interesting design and is manicured to perfection even after days of rain. Some picturesque holes and very fair to all golfers. I would put this course right up there with blackstone and Elgin highlands - just way cheaper.
Course review
Although it was pretty wet from all the rain as of late, the course was in nice shape. Great layout.
Challenging, but fair
A hidden gem. Greens are very true, but a fairly tight venue for many of the drives. Difficult, long par threes on the front 9. Worth the trip....
I'm a member and we play as fivesomes all the time. Typically, we're finished in well under four hours (3:45-ish), unless we get slowed down my non-member foursomes.
