Relatively Flat
I like this course, all but a few holes have fairly flat fairways. which is inviting for all skill levels.
Goat Ranch Extraordinaire
Usually we view this place as a cheap round of golf. No amenities, no practice facilities, nothing. This day was a major headache. Slow groups in front of us made the front nine painful.
Four seniors who thought they were playing the Sr. US Open took forever on each shot, and they were NOT good. The family in front of us was pitiful. Dad, son and young daughter. They would wait until the group in front was 350 yards away before the kids hit their shots 20 yards. Oh, this was a Saturday at 9:30AM. NOT the time to teach your kids how to hit a golf ball on a crowded golf course.
3 hour front nine was painful, it ruined the day. NO rangers on the course....EVER.
Conditions were not terrible, but I would NEVER pay their asking price. It's way to high for what you get here. Do yourself a favor, find another bargain place to play and let this place die a quiet death.

Changes
I played the course last year, this time we found that the white and blue tees were moved back. We enjoyed playing from the white tees being the first time this year playing for one of the players.
Very good course for the money.
The course tries their best to keep grass cut and greens in good shape even when we had all this rain. Some very challenging holes and 3 -9 hole courses slows pace of play to be very favorable.
Ranger needed
Pace of play was horrid Group ahead of us held us up so bad that there were 4 holes ahead of them with nobody playing them. We asked to play through twice and they said no. We only played 14 holes because the pace was already going into the 5 th hour of play. Other then this it was great
Terrible Condition
Just played today.(South and North Course.) Clumps of grass everywhere in fairways. Tee boxes overgrown. Greens pathetic. Staff....what staff one guy at pro shop and one bartender. Don't waste your money.
Need of a ranger
The foursome in front of us was very slow at there game play. They never asked us to play through , we ended up leaving at the 6th hole Tee on center course and there was no one in front of them on the following three holes. Staff was great Just need a ranger to make sure players are using golf etiquette
